Just a moment ago, I announced a three-month break in the service providing of GnS Economics. We simply do not have the manpower to run the company, which warrants a break. I pushed through the spring by myself, but it was artificial respiration. When our new team did not start to form during the summer, I decided that a break was needed.
This pause now allows me to concentrate on writing here and on finishing my book. I got the third rewrite into a (near) full swing during the summer, and I will continue it now. What I am planning to write here and there will, most likely, align. That is, the theories and analyses I uncover for the book will be reproduced here and vice versa.
I also want to study our forecasting models in more depth and (possibly) start to develop some new ones. I also hope to finish my simplified game-theoretical analysis on the nuclear exchange between Iran and Israel. I plan to travel a lot, which is why some of my entries are likely to deal with regional topics more than before.
I have to admit that I am looking forward to the 3-month period. I have dreamed of taking a break from the firm for three years (at least) to do some freer writing and analysis. I, for example, have not had the opportunity to give any interviews for about six months. I hope to catch up with those during the fall.
A total two- to three-week book-writing break sometime later in the fall is also likely. I feel that such is needed for the proper finalization of the book-manuscript. I will let you know about it in due course.
Maybe I won’t write any more today, but just enjoy the feeling of being a free-man, again ;). But don’t be mistaken. I love working for GnS Economics. It just requires a team (it always has had one), which needs to be re-formed, which will take some time.
Have an excellent start of the week!
