Pangram collab Substack might not be suspicious since some writers use Claude, Chatgpt and any other tools that can generate writing structures whereas it would be unfair for writers who don't use this kind of thing.
These is because they got many people here on Substack who use AI for writing their pieces and try to control writers from doing so.
From one of JHong post, she knows what writers are afraid off and that is being called out. Being called out “Claude user writer” or an “AI based writer.”
I sometimes use AI for correcting my grammar but the final decision was made by me and not AI.
I try Pangram one time to detect my writing and it does say “Human Writing.” I was happy that it says “Human Writing” but as I recalled,
“Why am I happy about it?”
When I know that my pieces are made by me.
Later on, someone post about how Pangram says it is made by AI. He explained, at first Pangram agreed it was Human Writing but then he found out that he made a mistake and change “latter” into “Later” then do you know what happens next? He corrected the word and use the detector to scan again. He was shocked that Pangram detects his writing as “100% AI Writing.”
From my analysis these detectors would agree if something off from the grammar or in short, your grammar is worst!
You heard it!
Your grammar should look stupid unrefine to be accepted as “Human Writing.”
Out of 575 words of my piece they would study 400 words each segment.
But as a writer, you know the most that you want your audience to easily understand such words and refine to be acknowledged.
These refine piece would help your audience to know your purpose and to reach them with clear information or instructions which resolute other writers to use AI to clear undefined words.
I also saw someone post that you’ll know that it is an AI Writing if it starts with “Many people…” or “These days…” but you are wrong!
Writing in that manner is called an opening or an introduction that would cause a strong hook for readers to catch attention.
Additionally, using “Conclusion,…” or “To conclude…” is called closing remarks or a summarise for the whole story. This is called basic writing whereas you use opening →body(problem - solution) or opinions, and facts→closing remarks.
Thus, AI use such forms since it is commonly use by many writers long ago up to the recent. Mainly, researchers and from old articles you’ll find this kind of writing.
So if you are a writer who use this kind of plot then continue used that.
Don't change your writing.
Don't listen to other say about your writing.
Since they don't know about basic writing or maybe they just don't listen about it from class.
So back from the topic.
I also thought that this app called Pangram and other AI detectors would collect data from our writings and would study the true essense of human writing whereas we end up helping AI to know what is a “True Human Writing.”
In the future, they might say “AI Writing” even it's your own words.
To sum up, we are being use for making AI better or should we say a “Human tool” for AI.
These also conclude that they will end up studying us and to know more about us writers.
