Dear Morfollower,
In just one month, COP30 will begin.
We believe our mission is to bring real solutions. For the past two years, we’ve been working toward a single goal: to design on-the-ground actions near the conference that allow participants to see impact firsthand and take part in real change.
Today, I’m thrilled to share the two initiatives that MORFO and its partners have built. Two actions that could lead to something extraordinary: creating lasting benefits for the people of Belém and offsetting all COP30 flight emissions.
These initiatives complement each other. They were born from months of collaboration, and now we’re opening them up to you — so that you can:
visit us on site,
support our challenge financially, or
share these initiatives within your network.
Reach out to our team to join the movement and help make this COP what it should be — a moment of hope and action.
Will you be in Belém? Yes? Then let’s get out in the field together.
For COP30 visitors, MORFO has created an exclusive on-site experience — a guided field visit just 10 minutes from the convention center, hosted on land provided by Embrapa. This living forest offers a rare opportunity to witness up close how science, community leadership, and advanced technology are bringing the Amazon back to life.
Two guided tour options are available: 30 minutes or 60 minutes.
PS: If your organization would like to co-host a free private tour, please contact Carolina at carolina@morfo.rest
To go beyond our first flagship action, we joined forces with four local partners to answer a bold question: “What if we could design a pioneering project that protects biodiversity while advancing sustainable human development?”
Thanks to our sponsors, this vision is becoming real — 500 hectares to be restored around Belém: 400 hectares of degraded forests and 100 hectares of agroforestry systems.
This effort will create 165 jobs, support 75 local families, bring biodiversity back to one of the world’s most vital ecosystems, and… offset all round-trip flights to COP30. Our first hectare pre-bookings are complete, and the second founding partner spot is now open until November 9th.
Reservations are limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Let’s grow!
Pascal Asselin, Co-founder of MORFO
