Hey everybody,
It’s the full Sturgeon Moon this week and I’ve been thinking about how much Marisol has grown this year. But I’m curious to know more about what our audience wants more from our Substack.
What started as a little series about a 900-year-old Latina witch doing community service for the universe somehow turned into eighteen assignments, extra stories, special editions, physical books, the Eternal Registry, and now an entire Spooky Season collection.
That still feels a little crazy to me.
For the rest of the year, I want to keep building Marisol without turning it into a factory. Good stories when they come. More physical books when they make sense. Maybe some free little surprises. Maybe a podcast. We’ll see.
Mostly, I want to keep making this world fun.
And one important reminder before I go.
The Spooky Season Kickstarter launches in just a few days.
I know I’ve mentioned it quite a bit lately, but this campaign really does help me keep making Marisol books and special editions.
So if Spooky Season sounds like fun, I’d love to have you there when it launches.
Much love,
Dennis
