Having been in publishing for decades now, it’s almost a guarantee that after numerous proofreaders, numerous proofreading passes etc, the quickest way to find a typo is to open a book you’ve just printed after all of that and there it is! Argh. Sorry Maryland which we listed as ME…not MD. (Those keys sure are close together) Anyhow our current mood is jubilation (from everyone sharing their photos of receiving their books and how much they are loving them) along with utter despair at letting a typo get through….(see image to represent our feelings on that)
Anyhow, it’s already fixed for the second printing and fixed for the digital editions.

This past weekend the folks at the Arizona Comic Book Arts Festival were kind enough to have Monster Forge out for the show. It was a great time at the Con. As a Con first, I got a text from my wife telling me she saw on the news that the hotel I was going to be staying at in Dubai for this month’s Dubai Comic-Con got hit by a missile. SO….shifting gears and will be at WonderCon instead it seems. We are in some very interesting times. Even more reason to say THANK YOU to all of you who support us. Between wars, AI stealing creatives jobs (and all the corporations that are so excited by that prospect) and everything else going on we are super appreciative for all the support.

John Cboins is getting close to finishing up the art on RETURN OF THE MONSTERS so we’re excited to get that out to everyone. He really got behind where he wanted to be but this art is fantastic and we think it’ll be worth the wait!
