Good news – my second shipment of books arrived safely so the party is on!
Book launch for A Valley Girl Dilemma on Monday evening, April 27, at d’Lish by Tish Café (702A 14th Street East in Saskatoon) starting at 6:30 p.m. Author readings at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. followed by your questions and my stuttering and embarrassed answers.
Hope to see you there and bring all your friends. Dress code is shoulder pads, neon colours, layers, net gloves, and big hair (but if you sadly got rid of your retro wardrobe, come anyway).
If you can’t join me at the book launch, I’ll be sharing a book table at PopCon YXE, Saskatoon’s Convention (previously SaskExpo). A celebration of geek culture and all things fandom.
And if you can’t make either of those, everyone is invited to the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild Apprentice Readings on Friday evening, May 8, at Saskatoon Parktown Hotel (924 Spadina Cres E) at 7:30 p.m. Along with readings from the other four apprentices in the 2026 mentorship program, I’ll be reading from my forthcoming novel Hideaway which I’ve been polishing with help from my mentor.
Thanks for being with me on this journey!
Monica
