A Canadian police detective has been demoted for noticing that nine children apparently died after taking the safe and effective.

She happened upon an unusual cluster of infant deaths and she investigated, as you might expect from an officer of the law.

Had they died from contaminated food she might have been celebrated. Instead she came across a connection that the authorities deemed inconvenient.

Over four years authorities harried Helen Grus, in the country’s longest police disciplinary hearing.

The misdemeanour centred on not having been assigned the investigation, taking it upon her own initiative, and not involving approved “child care” authorities. She reportedly turned down a plea deal to not mention the deaths.

Legendary New York detective Frank Serpico has praised Ottowa’s detective Helen Grus for investigating the death of infants related to the shot. As a plain clothes policeman he saw narcotics corruption in the NYPD in the 1960s, and would survive an attempt to kill him. Al Pacino would star in a film in his name in 1973.

He called in vain for Ottawa police to drop the attempt to punish Grus.

This week a tribunal stripped her of her rank as a constable first class for the misconduct of inquiring into infant deaths, including contacting the father of a deceased baby to ask if the mother had taken the shot.

Her case recalls that of Barry Young who faces prosecution because, as an IT contractor to New Zealand health department during Covid, he saw patterns in death and injury linking to particular batches, pharmacies and timelines.

Young downloaded, anonymised and released data which suggested that officials already knew, or had no excuse for not knowing, that people were dying at double digit rates within a year of the shot.

The Grus case revealed a damning document: a May 2021 memo from the Privy Council of the British monarchy which said injuries and deaths “have the potential to shake public confidence.” It advised that injuries related to the “safe and effective” be played down.

The royal court even suggested skewing statistics to hide deaths and injuries according to the document obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter, an Ottawa publication that reports on government doings, via an Access to Information request.

The May 2021 memo was sent during the roll out, and partial mandate, promoting “winning communications strategies.”

Under this specific memo to this day managers of the injury compensation funds continue to hide the number of claims for injury or death, Blacklock’s wrote as recently as July 2025.

The shots had begun the previous December. Clearly the number of adverse events was already substantial enough to unnerve the Crown.

The Privy Council for Canada, while technically separate from the Privy Council of the UK, is sworn to “secret” and “faithful” service of the same monarch. Queen Elizabeth was in the final year of her life and then-prince Charles, as heir to the throne, was a member of the Privy Council and would have shared her duties.

It was Charles who said the pandemic was a “golden opportunity” to reset the global economy when, in June 2020, he announced the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Great Reset.”

It was his father, Philip, duke of Edinburgh, who in 1988 told a journalist at Deutsche Presse-Agentur: “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation.”

Asked about the greatest threat to conservation, Philip answered: “The growing human population. From where we are, there’s nothing else.”
