Good evening! I am little off my schedule as I have been writing this from my bed as I’ve pulled something in my back (picking up my dog off my bed mind you) that turned into being unable to walk at all, a trip to urgent care in a wheelchair and now I am walking around using a walker! I am on the mend but here is your reminder to use your core and legs when picking up heavy objects (or a 23 lb dog)!
Very thankful to my red light mat from HigherDOSE and ice/heating pads (and my parents who carried me up and down the stairs).
We’ve made it through February, woohoo. Fingers and toe crossed for an early Spring, I am desperate for it!!

I have had these Vincent Boulevard sunglasses on my wishlist for months now and I signed up for the restock notification. Also, I saw the Khaite x Oliver People’s sunglasses on The Millennial Decorator (this post) and immediately added to my wishlist (also signed up for restock notification).
I love my body dry brush I got from The Foundry Home Goods and have since been eyeing this face dry brush by Karmameju. It helps to reduce puffiness and promotes firm skin- also just feels great.

There are two bags on my wishlist from Metier- the private eye large tote and this leather clutch. They are both timeless beauties.
I am a huge fan of Fara Homidi makeup and she just dropped her stunning eyeshadows. I picture myself casually smudging this blue eyeshadow on my lids for a night out.
I love these Massimo Dutti croc loafers- I tried on a similar pair at Zara but they didn’t have my size. I miss Massimo Dutti stores so much.
If you are looking for a less expensive version of the Margiela tabi’s, I discovered this brand Mary Lo and love their tabi mules clogs in the shiny black color. They are $130.
I just bought this Zara blouse and I love the contrast of the red with the white buttons (it came in the mail and it’s great). It reminds me of the Comme Si “La Shirt Classica,” that has held a place on my wishlist for a while now. This will have to hold me over.
I have been on the search for a good laptop case and this Bembien piece is just stunning.
I have got some amazing pieces from Zara Home and I love this paper mache vase. I picture it with a massive bouquet like so in it.

I am always on the lookout for good pilates socks. I like the height on the Skims pilates socks but I am also loving these Aritzia grippy socks (on sale for $17.50).

I ordered the J.Crew x Buci NYC rollneck sweater, it’s still available on pre-order. They did a drop of their rollneck sweaters with a few different designers and this one stuck out to me the most. I also really like this one in skies ivory nectar.
Speaking of Spring things!! (I know I am way too early). These paper napkins from Zara are so sweet. I also love these gloss trays and steel vases.

If anything seeing Wuthering Heights made me want to read the book and I feel like that’s something. I didn’t hate it as a stand alone film, maybe Margot Robbie wasn’t the right fit and I think they missed some depth but I loved the soundtrack and when he protects her eyes from the rain!!! That’s more sexy then any nudity.

Enjoyed this article on luxury train travel in the New York Times. I had no idea that there are travel agencies that specifically specialize in train travel. “Railbookers, a Boston-based agency that specializes in train travel, saw revenue from luxury rail bookings grow 135 percent over the past three years, with a 41 percent jump occurring in just the last year.”
While this piece highlights luxury trains, I’m wholeheartedly in favor of more trains across the board. Don’t get me started on the car lobbyist that ruined the United States’s chance at having an amazing train system. They don’t want us to have affordable means of travel! When I was in London, I read so much more because trains and buses allow you to sit back and daydream, read, walk or what have you. It also forces you to interact with your community. I was once on a bus where the wheelchair ramp stopped working and everyone came together to lift two people off the bus at their stop. It’s so much better for us in so many ways and I will die on this hill.
I finished reading both James and Strangers this week. I’ve read 6 books so far and James has been my favorite. Percival Everett’s writing is beautiful and the story flowed effortlessly- I finished the book in about 2 days. It’s a retelling of Mark Twain’s, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, from Jim’s perspective, an enslaved man that joins Huck on his journey down the Mississippi. It is a must read.
I loved Belle Burden’s Strangers- if you are evolving in this life, I truly believe you have an awakening. Everyone has something and you either learn and grow from it or you don’t. That’s what this book was about to me- sprinkled in with rage at the audacity of men. As a woman, especially when I was younger, I relate to the feeling of having to be my best self amongst the friends of an ex- being careful not to overshare so as not to be seen as the “crazy, bitter or angry” ex-girlfriend. I hate that I catered to them over my own emotions. It is a very, very thin line to ride to be taken seriously and this book will bring up lots of emotions for women.
Reading this book timed with the Epstein files, the men’s US hockey team, the Trump administration and so many other things going on in the world- expect to be ignited.
If you invite me to your party or a shindig, I will most likely bring you Gulp Hablo orange wine or these DELICIOUS blood orange pomegranate seltzers.
I picked up some more of my favorite socks from Aritzia and this shiny headband from Nordstrom. And brought out my new bag from Faye Creations. It’s the perfect size and fits so much.

I feel like I really lucked out with this Ludovic De Saint Sernin bag I scored on TRR for a great price. I can only find it on Vestiaire Collective for $500+ now.
Mostly, I have been- truly and actually living in my Yelabel sweatshirt (as in every day when I wake up, I put this on. I also have the hoodie version. My Mom also has one, they are so soft and cozy. I want the sweatpants).
Hugging my Crown Affair pillow (which is truly unreal, there are pressure points and it mutes sound and offers so much support, it’s a MAGIC PILLOW) and currently reading Giovanni’s Room and watching, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast on Netflix (the Irish do funny/witty better than anyone). Derry Girls?!
