Reknowned longevity scientist Dr. Aubrey De Grey joined Aubrai devs on stage to demonstrate how their longevity AI agent works. At the time of writing, Aubrai has generated over 1,200 experimental hypotheses and has generated more than $285,000 in trading fees, which are routed to the De Grey lab. With so much crypto saturation, we knew we could offer a unique moment to interface with TradSci. Aaron Weaver’s panel with Teng Lin and Thian Chew gave insight into the future of drug discovery, clinical evidence, AI-driven science, and the realities of bringing biotech innovation to market. Network School, the brainchild of former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan, is a startup society based out of verdent Malaysia. A nexus point for high agency tech builders, it felt like a natural location to run our first in-person DeSci Bootcamp.
Having been involved in two online iterations of this course, there truly is something to be said about being able to gather IRL and brainstorm around web3 solutions for science. As our ecosystem scales, attracting passionate and talented participants remains critical, and a hands-on approach like this simply works. Next steps -- scaling.
