Late-December Holiday Break
In our last newsletter, we shared the exciting news of Brandon’s first short-term mission trip to Mexico! If you missed it, click here to catch up.
The rest of December, our whole organization took a holiday break, and our family made the most of it with our annual Christmas vacation—check out the Family Updates below!
January Jumpstarts
Brandon kicked off the year in Orlando, Florida, at Wycliffe’s headquarters, collaborating with his team to plan and strategize how to better equip the local church with our many resources. It was also a valuable time of team-building, strengthening our ability to serve together and make a greater impact on Bible translation.
February Journeys
After Brandon and Catherine wrapped up January with their long-overdue honeymoon for their 15 year Wedding Anniversary (better late than never—more on that below!), the calendar quickly filled with back-to-back trips to Chicago and Boston (16 flights in total so far this year!). Brandon connected with students at multiple colleges, casting vision for future careers in missions and ministering to those seeking guidance for their next steps.

If you’ve been following our newsletter for a while, you may have noticed us gradually introducing a big prayer request—our eventual move to Nigeria to serve in Bible translation on the field. As we continue seeking God’s direction for this transition, we want to start sharing more updates on the incredible ways He is moving in Nigeria and how Wycliffe is actively working to bring His Word to more communities.

…miraculously healing our family member who was diagnosed with COPD, leaving them completely free from sickness!
…Catherine’s new homeschool systems and routines running smoothly with the children, allowing her to balance her time well with Wycliffe.
…Brandon already completing 1 of the last three classes needed to graduate this May 2025.
…for protecting the kids from illness during the winter months.
