We’re excited to launch Startup Spotlight, a new section dedicated to showcasing the brilliant startups emerging from our community. Each edition will highlight a venture driven by innovation, purpose, and impact.
To kick things off, we’re proud to feature Thaura, an ethical AI alternative to ChatGPT and other mainstream platforms.
Thaura is built on three key pillars: Data Privacy, Sustainability, and a Truthful Stance. Using the GLM-4.5 Air model, which activates only 12 billion of its 100 billion parameters at a time, Thaura significantly reduces energy consumption while maintaining top-tier performance. It is an AI platform guided by Islamic ethics, prioritizing user privacy through a strict no-log policy and a commitment to truth.
Currently part of the T4P Incubator Program, Thaura has already grown organically to over 1,200 users in just four weeks. Their mission is simple and powerful: to provide the Muslim and ethical-tech communities with a halal-aligned AI platform that upholds transparency, truth, and responsibility in every interaction.
If you’d like to support Thaura, you can:
Migrate from Big Tech AI tools to Thaura’s ethical alternative.

GPT-5.1-Codex-Max uses compaction to handle massive developer tasks across multiple context windows. It scored 77.9% on SWE-bench Verified, while using 30% fewer thinking tokens than before, making it faster and more efficient for long coding workflows.
Gemini 3 delivers leading performance on major tests, scoring 1501 Elo on LMArena, 91.9% on GPQA Diamond, and 81% on MMMU-Pro. It includes a Deep Think mode for stronger reasoning, and arrives alongside the launch of Antigravity.
Perplexity has launched new personalization features that enable its AI assistant to remember user preferences, interests, and past context across conversations. This upgraded memory system enhances response accuracy and consistency by automatically recalling relevant details, reducing the need for repeated context setup.
Claude Opus 4.5 is the first model to cross 80% on SWE-bench Verified. It now includes an effort setting so developers can choose between fast or extra-capable responses, plus automatic context compression that supports very long conversations. Pricing has been lowered to $5 and $25 per million tokens, making it more accessible than earlier releases. It’s also available in Claude for Chrome and Claude for Excel.
