Meet me in Spain!

A few of my favorite things in life are making art, exploring interesting places, making new friends and experiencing different cultures—and this retreat brings all of those things together! 💃🏽

I’d love for you to join me in the stunning Cabo de Gata Natural Park in southern Spain for a week of creativity, exploration, and inspiration. This landscape is unlike anywhere else I’ve been: dramatic coastlines, rugged hillsides, endless skies, and a quiet beauty that invites you to slow down and really pay attention.

Throughout the week, we’ll spend our days painting, sketching, experimenting, and gathering inspiration from the world around us. I’ll share many of the approaches I use in my own work, including working with acrylics, gouache, mixed media, mark-making, stamp carving, and printing on fabric. More importantly, I’ll encourage you to loosen up, stay curious, and embrace the unexpected turns that often lead to the most interesting work.

One of the things I love most about travel is how it wakes me up creatively. New sights, colors, textures, foods, conversations, and experiences have a way of shifting our perspective and helping us see familiar things differently. My hope is that this retreat not only fills your sketchbook but also replenishes your creative spirit.

We’ll venture into the beautiful city of Almería, explore the impressive Alcazaba Fortress, wander the coastline of Cabo de Gata, and enjoy wonderful meals together along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to sketch, gather ideas, and soak in the atmosphere that makes this region so special.

At the end of the day, you’ll return to your private room, enjoy chef-prepared meals, and connect with fellow creatives over dinner and conversation. By the end of the week, my hope is that you’ll leave with a collection of artwork, new friendships, fresh inspiration, and perhaps most importantly, renewed confidence in your own creative voice.
