Let's MAKE ART!

I have had “silkscreening t-shirts” on my bucket list for years and I finally did it! With the help of my friends Johnny & Thomas we printed about 100 of them (see more here). It was super fun, a bit of work and a great learning experience. Little bits of this and that… still doing pottery once a week. A lot of things not turning out very good but I have a few pieces I’m pretty pleased with. I am SO excited to invite you to join me in Níjar, Almería, Spain for a week-long art retreat that I’ll be teaching June 7-14, 2027. Located in the stunning Cabo de Gata Natural Park. We’ll spend our days painting, experimenting, filling sketchbooks, and learning new techniques with acrylics, gouache, mixed media, stamp carving, and printing. Along the way, we’ll explore charming towns, breathtaking coastlines, and gather fresh inspiration from the beauty all around us.

We’ll stay in a beautiful retreat setting with private rooms, incredible meals, and plenty of time to connect, create, and recharge. If you’ve been craving dedicated time for your art, THIS is your invitation.

I’ve realized that my favorite kind of creative travel is immersive- gathering inspiration, soaking in the culture, the architecture, the patterns, the feeling of a place… and then having intentional time to sit down and translate all of that into a sketchbook.

This retreat is open to all levels- from “never picked up a paintbrush” to “this is what I do all day every day.”

My approach to painting is rooted in imagination, intuition, and thoughtful problem solving. I care far more about the exploration than perfection.
