Michael Corthell · The Vegan's Voice

Ethics matters most when we have power over another living being who cannot resist, argue, vote, or walk away. Farmed animals live almost entirely at our mercy, yet we routinely accept their suffering for the sake of appetite, habit, and convenience. For most of us, that is not necessity. It is simply what we have been taught to accept.

Compassion cannot stop with the animals we call pets. It has to include the animals we have been trained to see as products. If mercy means anything, it means showing it when we have the power not to.

Compassion matters most when we live it. The 7-Day Compassion Challenge from The Vegan’s Voice is a free 17-page workbook filled with simple, practical ways to make your daily choices kinder to animals. Download it free, or pay what you want. Get your copy here.

Not ready for a paid subscription? That’s perfectly fine. If you enjoy my work and would still like to support it, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. Your support helps keep independent writing about consciousness, compassion, and social renewal going. 🌱 Every contribution, large or small, is genuinely appreciated.

Thank you for being here. ❤️
