by Meditation Artifacts
Issue No. 1 · May 2026
Hello everyone!
The Artifact is a little experiment to help get all the great work Meditation Artifacts has been doing out to the people following along for updates, in an easy and accessible format. Most importantly, check out the Future of Meditation Symposium on May 13th! Ticket sales close on May 10th and we want to make sure everyone who needs to join will be there. Share this with your friends and colleagues, get the word out, and show up for a day of incredible conversations. Links and more information below.
The other event to keep an eye on is Futurative: The Contemplative Futures Residency. This is a programming layer added to a month-long tech and human flourishing conference at Edge Esmeralda, located near San Francisco, CA. We’re inviting monks, scientists, hackers (that is, tech founders and designers), and you to join us. Check out the website to learn more. However interesting you think it will be, the reality will likely be several times greater.
Finally, please submit to The Artifact if you have work, an event, or a project that you think is meaningful for this community. You can submit here: meditationartifacts.org/submit. We’ll try to respond to every submission. I’m adding this layer to The Artifact because I’ve been encountering people doing incredible work in the broader meditation scene and I’d love to help surface that to everyone here. Right now, this is just Meditation Artifacts activities and partnerships, but next month let’s get some of what you are all doing into this newsletter. I’ll also keep tweaking the formatting of The Artifact until we get it right.
Looking forward to building this community with you all, and seeing you at the Future of Meditation Symposium or Futurative!
Sincerely,
Luca Del Deo, Founder of Meditation Artifacts
