Dan Diamond reports in the Washington Post that the president’s weight gain over twenty months is a real health concern. Buried in it is a number: 238 pounds, per the May White House physical. Twenty three pounds more than the 215 listed on his Georgia booking paperwork in 2023, and fourteen up from the previous checkup. So the official position is that the man is up twenty three pounds and also that he currently weighs 238. The rest of the reporting is unintentionally funny. Physicians have advised weight loss, dietary changes, and sustained physical activity. That is a clean sweep of things he is famously not doing, given a documented preference for fast food and an on record view that exercise is a waste of energy.
