We become solutions to problems that no longer exist.
**
Self awareness is the first step.
But it’s not enough on its own.
Great, you know you’ve got this thing that’s holding you back at work or in your relationships.
What are you now doing about it?

Impact over intention.
You shouldn’t excuse others for how they make you feel and how they treat you, even if they had the best intentions.
Set your empathy limit
Thema Bryant on enduring trauma:
“You can’t heal in the same environment that taught you to survive.”
Robin Sharma on procrastination:
“The cost of procrastination is the life you could have lived.”
Carol Jung on seeking acceptance from others:
“Most suffering comes from trying to be someone the world will approve of.”
Is the person you’re trying to be today
a version of who you want to be;
or one the world expects you to be? i.e., a performance for others.
What I liked about this one was how it got me to appreciate the little things in life. You think you need to create those elaborate experiences or gestures to get noticed, but oftentimes in life, it’s the littlest of things that leave an impact.
That goes for life and work. You don’t need to go all out to stand out. You just need to show you care and people (customers, coworkers, or your loved ones) will remember it.
I’d give the power of moments a read if you’re into that.

I also happen to coach people. I learned from one of the world’s best, Robert Ellis.
Would you like to have a coaching conversation? Sometimes all it takes is a 30-minute deep conversation to point you in the right direction. Or give you a little nudge. Maybe you just need someone to hear you out. I’m here for you.
