Little bug, sweet Mary Beth, you are often hard on yourself. And goodness, let’s bury the anxiety. Just this morning you worried about how your family sees you, that you’re too loud; is that because you often feel invisible? My little patch of sunshine, you cringe at the inside voice who says you are loved by them. You poo-poo that voice, our voice. You still think you have to seek each one out, look into their eyes and suck out their approval of you.
Yes, yes, we know about your search for approval. Goes back to Mom. Her facial expression, her frown ruled your throat, your heart, your jaw. Now you know, sweet pie, that her burdens were huge and she barely had time for you. This new generation of yours is breaking that approval.
What does your heart say?
We hear your beating heart proclaim that you are visible in your world! You stand out in beauty and honesty. You are practicing saying “no.” You are building your precious sanctuary, putting rocks and beautiful stones on the perimeter.
You don’t have to splatter yourself all over into bits.
We see what you are planning. In order to breathe life into your being, you carefully level the foundation surrounding your edges. You choose beautiful stones like rose quartz from the Black Hills, and trees that canopy like your Kentucky Coffee Tree. Also, you planted a Korean Mountain Ash with the magic of blossoms and the red berries for the cardinal’s winter survival. You are seen MB just as nature is encircling your sanctuary. You still carry fears and we are addressing them daily together. Your restrictions are open MB, your feet rooted; you are ready to encounter the disconfirming experiences that we are planting so you can tackle them and update your feelings.
