Look at you my darling Mom, Nana, sister, wife, author, teacher, and seeker of us. We see you.
You know what?
We hear your yearnings for serenity. You discovered serenity and peace with a touch of boredom. Remember when you asked for boredom? Your life previously was chaos. Your heart broken…several times. You were penniless and full of anger and resentment. My sunny coral fuchsia, you were crushed, appalled. You lost a percentage of your body and kept going.
Why?
Your kids?
Your relationship with us?
You were/are fearful and fearless! We watched you take one step at a time. Little bird, you found a way to use the fountain to quench the self-care. You didn’t have much material. You had your children whom you loved more than yourself. You lusted after walk ups in Chicago and St Paul, and the mansions around the lake. You just wanted a job for heaven’s sake! You stayed vigilant until you secured an income and made a home out of sticks. A nest for your offspring was your desire. You overshot the desire for an impressive home, your castle. For less than a year, you enjoyed the front door of a home you dreamt about. You risked being selfish and asked for what you wanted.
You got it!
Open was your heart and you found Melo. Full of life and she made you laugh. She introduced a freedom that you had never experienced. You tasted utter joy.
Then you lost her and your dream home, that you fought hard to keep. But you lost it all. Sadly, you were devastated and wanted to end the streaming of life.
You hit bottom.
And whoa! The power surge in your body electrified the world around you. You could see, my little bug. Too bright?
No, you took the light and directed it toward you. Right on your head, your body.
Now, little sovereign princess, we are enjoying this vision of you on the sofa under the umbrella surrounded by your garden of fuchsia, inpatients, and clematis.
