My birthday is this coming Saturday, July the 4th. As many of my readers are US based I wanted to wish my American friends a happy independence day! Growing up, I was very proud to share this day in common with the people of the US, a country I have always been fascinated by. To honour my birthday week, I am not posting an article today allowing myself some self care (always hard) and healing vibes since I came down with a cold/allergy.
I am in my hometown in Southern Italy surrounded by familiar faces, places and lots and lots of comfort food. It’s really heartwarming to be here, even with the rain pouring outside just now, ( a welcome break from the heat) to me this is still the safest place in the world.
