Dear Party People,
I’d like to introduce myself.
My name is Harmony, I am a good friend of Manster’s and I’ll be taking over his newsletters for a little while (don’t worry this was fully consensual not a heist). In my timeline (where I come from), the only people doing any robbing are the ones running the government. Confused yet?
Here’s a picture he sent today form Parc de La Fontaine:
If you are reading this, you may know, Manster is on vacation in beautiful Montreal! I only know the city from pictures found on your world’s wide web. However, he tells me he is having a good time, finding some solace in that gorgeous north american city. A francophone one, at that. Given that, like myself, he feels like an exile of his own country, there’s some repose in visiting a nearby city. Repose of a certain longing, an uncomfortable yearning for a hug from the city that raised him and nourished his eternal curiosity and hatred for humans. Ok, that last bit I added myself, he doesn’t actually hate people. Not as much as he says he does, that’s not possible right?
There’s a certain contradiction with his essence, as far as I can tell. I’ve only known him for a few years. People, including himself, are still stuck on saying it’s cus he’s a gemini. I call bullshit. In these last few year’s I’ve gotten to know his contradictory demeanor is only the surface of a deeply tenacious human being. And now, we are working together on a wonderful project called SHARE, you must’ve heard about it by now, he won’t shut up about it!
In keeping this newsletter and the ones to come rather short, I would like to cordially invite you to my birthday party! No I’m kidding, I will be, however, performing at Artist Commons, you will get a chance to meet me in person! Now, I won’t spoil any surprises, but I just want you to know that Manster and I look a lot alike. You may have already met me if you passed by his atelier in the last couple of years, I am there a lot.
On June 27th 2026 I will be presenting our project through a performance Manster and I have entitled Manny Manster’s Original Soundtrack. We have been working on this for about half a year, he performed it a few months ago at Artist commons, and it is still in development. In the framework of the closing event for Artist Common’s group exhibition, Reparations, I Harmony Wilde, will be performing for the very first time at Artist Commons. I’m beyond excited, and hope to see you there.
PS: with Manster’s permission I am resharing some pictures he has shared with me of his trip. See below!
Loads of Love,
