Pray for Me, Comic Con Is Upon Us

Then Thursday arrives and I am speed walking through the Gaslamp with a lukewarm coffee, three lanyards around my neck, kissing babies and shaking hands like I am running for mayor of the convention center. Comic Con is the rat race personified, except the rats are dressed as Bat Man and the finish line is a four hour wait for a freaking Funko Pop.

Here is my week: mingle, meeting, panel, meeting, signing, meeting, dinner where I nod alot while my soul quietly steps outside for air, then wake up and do it all again. My calender currently looks like a Tetris board played by someone who hates me.

And yet. I love this show. I complain because complaining is my cardio, but there is nothing like watching someone pick up one of our books for the first time. That part never gets old. That part is the whole point.

So come find me.

Thursday, I am signing Terrorbytes with the great Mark Russell at the Mad Cave Studios booth, #2806. The Vol. 1 trade just came out, so bring your copy or grab one at the booth and we will deface it beautifully.

Also, on Thursday I am on Descend Into Madness, a panel about horror and comics, sitting next to Scott Snyder, Becky Cloonan, Tula Lotay, Mark Russell, Leah Kilpatrick, Dan Panossian, and other people who are far scarier than I am.

And all weekend you can swing by booth 2806 for our convention exclusives, including Honor and Curse #1 and Mister Nemo #1, plus the best team in comics standing on concrete for ten hours a day and still smiling.
