The twins made quite an entrance...

One year on from the longest 54 hours of my life.

(Or, here’s what the last few months have looked like.)

It takes all my willpower to leave the bathroom and rejoin Matt and the sonographer. I know what I’m about to hear, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to face it.

I’ve got a little green bruise in the crook of my right elbow now; a little mark that tells those in-the-know: she’s done this before.

Is there a non-weird way to say “we're now having unprotected sex”?

And what to do with all these unanswered questions...

I crawled to the finish line last year.

...and other thoughts while running...

And why an autism diagnosis freed me from shame.
