Madam's Diary · Madam's Diary

Man, it’s been a while since I’ve written an article and as I’m writing, I’m feeling good already. LOL. Isn’t it funny how that works? I have no idea where this article is headed because so much has changed in my life. Every day I’m learning something new or overcoming a new challenge, and I really do mean that. I don’t say that in a personal development article filler way… no, actually. Every day I’m faced with new shit.

My new thing lately has been waking up and coaching myself. I wake up and say, “Okay, we gotta go hard today.” I eventually want to wake up and feel satisfied. I want to wake up and say, Yesterday we emptied the tank. Let’s top that shit. I’ve yet to be able to do that, but I know it will come very soon.

I’m also really big on routine and batching these days. I recently had a 1:1 session to learn how to structure my Apple Calendar correctly. I want to be SOOOOO locked in with my calendar. I honestly don’t know how I’ve been existing without a well planned out one as is. I’m so geeked to set it up. I love knowing I’m organized and not winging the day. That’s how shit ends up messy.

I’ve fucked up a lot of shit in my life by being unintentional with how I do things. The creativity has always been prevalent, work ethic too, BUT organization and structure? Not so much. Those can be weak spots for me, and it’s not that I don’t know better it can just be A LOT because I tend to overthink myself into paralysis.

For instance, during the recent 1:1 session, I was explaining how setting up the calendar confuses me, and as she’s giving me feedback I cut her off and said, “So basically it sounds like I just have to be in it.” She laughed and said yes.

My problem with the calendar and so many things in life, is that once I set it up, I expect that to be it. No. The calendar requires constant work, adjusting, repositioning, etc. You cannot create a calendar and expect it to be as is for the next 30–31 days. Lmao. No.

Same applies with life, with entrepreneurship, with relationships… you have to be IN it. You cannot exist on autopilot. Yes, we can batch, prompt, alarm, and to do list ourselves into fucking oblivion, but to really FEEEEL and get shit done, you have to be IN it. You cannot escape the work. There will always be something to do, and you should be proud of that as well.

That’s proof you’re alive. That’s proof you’re human. That’s proof that shit is getting done. And if your goal is to add to the collective and work your worldly assignment, then right on.

So I’m up at 11:39 even though I have to get up at 6:30 AM because this is a season of getting comfortable with being IN it. Not being scared of the work, the pushback, or pushing through the messy to get it right bcus all of this really is much deeper than me, and I have to remember this is personal, but at the same time it’s not.

Just do what is required and shut up✨
