Confessions of an Asteroid Junkie: This Should Not Be Possible, Yet it Happens.

Today, deep into the middle of an acupuncture session, face down on the table, needles in my shoulders, back and neck, I had a vision. It was Jesus showing up next to the table, dishing out life-changing guidance and telling me all about me.

Thing is, I am an easy trance state girl.

Trained in the world of shamanic states from Peruvian and Ecuadorian elders, even initiated by the bird people of the Andes, the imaginary realm is a second home to me.

But lately, I have noticed something absolutely cool.

My nocturnal dreams or visionary states (and those of friends or clients) are quite literally an inner experience of the real time sky. Planets AND asteroids are featured in our sleep time reveries.

I laughed when a friend told me one day about his dream that included pushing a boulder up a hill. I said, wow, that sounds like the myth of Sisyphus. Sure enough, the night of his dream, that very asteroid (with a four year orbit) was transiting directly over his ascendant.

In his daily life, of course, he was going through a difficult time where it seemed the boulder of life direction kept rolling back at him as he struggled to define that thing called purpose.

Let me be explicit.

I got home from today’s Jesus infused acupuncture and ran to my laptop, grabbed my astro.com chart and looked for two things — asteroid Yeshuhua (used by most for Jesus) and in my natal sky, and by transit.

When I was born this asteroid sits within a degree of my balsamic Aries moon and within 4 degrees of my Aries Mercury. (Third whole sign house).

As a kid, I was obsessed with the musical, Jesus Christ, Superstar. I watched the film version dozens of times, memorized every single song. When my grade eight music teacher decided to produce this play for our yearly production, I was over the top happy (even if my role was to play back up choir alto singing “what the buzz, tell me what’s happening).

Later, in my late teens, I was “born again,” at a tent revival style music festival, and even baptized in a dirty looking pond on someone’s farmland in rural Ontario. I managed to extricate myself from the Pentecostal Church cult while in university, but I did end up ,in all of my elective courses, studying the history of Christianity (PS.I grew up in a non religious family).

When I was in my 30’s Jesus came to me in a dream. He told me the strategy for life in a nutshell. We were sitting on a bench and it was pouring rain. I was in my nightie, the one I went to bed in.

He told me that to stop the rain I should not focus on “banishing the rain” but rather to simply “remember the sun.” It was one of my most impactful lessons, one that got me through the sudden death of both parentsin the two years after that dream.

I was an adult orphan by age 39, and the guidance of that dream was a lifeline.

So, yes, today, after Jesus showed up at my acupuncture session, I came home and decided to go asteroid hunting.

I was not surprised to find the Jesus asteroid on my natal balsamic moon.

What dazzled me was that the very same asteroid has been transiting over my Gemini IC in the last week and today was a mere two degrees away from a perfect conjunction. (With an orbit of 5.3 years, this timing was 5 years rare).

It kind of helps that my IC is on royal Persian fixed star Aldebaran, associated in medieval days with archangel Michael…
