After constantly wondering about the RHUGT Morocco lost footage, having any sort of Ultimate Girls Trip back in our lives is a gift. And to have these specific women together, traveling the country to visit other iconic Housewives (and Jo de la Rosa)? It’s a stroke of genius and I am so grateful to everyone who pulled this off and the EXCEPTIONAL casting decisions that took place to get us this crew.

There’s so much to discuss and we’re only one episode in….and it’s too much for me to adequately recap I fear! I’m on my second rewatch and I don’t think I’ve even caught half of the iconic one-liners being thrown around. These are pros—they know it and we know it and seeing them volley back and forth while taking several side quests down memory lane is, again, a gift! And on top of that, they seem very aware of what an honor being selected for this and are rising to the occasion to deliver the fans the reunion/ roadtrip/ roaring whatever we’re calling this.

I feel like it’ll only go up from here (Possibly because we started in the OC and every other city will undoubtedly be more fun) and, while I couldn’t possibly recap every moment, that doesn’t mean I can go without acknowledging this work of genius in some way soooooooo I’m going to rank the women and their performances….Dance Moms style!

Hopefully this can be a weekly series…but let’s not hold our breath! Take what you can from me and enjoy if you feel inclined (aka give it a like or a comment) and we’ll see if I can keep up with at least one show in my DVR!

Is Tamra a RHUGT cast member? Indeed she is not!! But I do think each week I should include one of the women we’re visiting on this pyramid for fun (and because the graphic I found has eight spots) and this week it’s Tamra because she somehow managed to make this all about her. Not only did she hijack bunco for no reason, her speech to Vicki was more depressing than Vicki’s speech. Which is saying something!!

She just drains the energy for me and makes a sometimes fun, often depressing Shannon even more miserable to watch and it’s just not the vibes I want in a RHUGT scene!

The only reason Vicki is here and not last place is because I know Vicki is genuinely this sad and miserable, whereas Tamra likes to perform for the cameras and thus is last on the pyramid. Obviously, we all know why Victoria is here and I too would have called her first to represent the RHOC women on this cross country road trip….but despite all the reasons she deserves her orange back and deserves to be here, I have determined it should have been Fancy Pants riding around in that sprinter van and I think the other women wish it was too, especially when her intro bit into the group is offering them insurance.

They were all soooo happy to see Heather when they got to The Quiet Woman, you just know Vicki watched that back and cancelled all their life insurance policies out of spite. Even thought it’s just week one, I am worried Vicki will ruin this trip for the women and for us. I know people are arguing “but that’s Vicki!!! She’s just being Vicki!!!” but she’s on one and it doesn't look like it’ll get better!!! Besides the insurance, she decided to host a bunco night in honor of when Slade called her Miss Piggy and she decided to redo her whole because of it…how uplifting!! And before that, she interrupts a very interesting conversation between the women and Teresa about jail to shame Teresa for not filing her taxes?? As if Teresa already doesn’t regret that??? Couple that with the shit storm she has to defuse between Tamra and Shannon and the dark energy in next week’s preview of her telling Kyle she essentially failed her family by getting a divorce (POT MEET KETTLE???), I’m starting to wonder if we should drop Vicki off in Oklahoma to visit Briana and call it a day.

Kyle has done nothing wrong thus far and, again, was 100% the correct casting decision to represent RHOBH, but she’s done nothing remarkable either besides being genuinely well liked by all her peers and therefore she falls to the bottom of the rankings. Respectfully. I do think next week’s convo will be very emotional and revealing for the fans about just how hard this separation is on Kyle and I suspect she’ll climb up the rankings!

Also, I must personally thank her for identifying something I didn’t know was driving me crazy about RHOC….THE ALL SCREAM!

Again, this is no reflection of Teresa’s performance or contribution to this Girls’ Trip, but someone has to come in fifth! Despite her being in the middle of the pyramid, I think Teresa on RHUGT is always a fascinating addition because you see the sweeter, almost shy, side shine through which other women (outside of RHONJ) always comment on. I loved when the women went around the table to ask about each other’s most iconic moments and didn’t even bother to ask Teresa because, while we can argue who put who on the map, we cannot deny that THIS is one of the most defining moments in the entire franchise and the women didn’t attempt to which I love.

But like I said, that’s not the Teresa we got on these trips and instead we see our Jersey girl admiring the OC views and comparing them to Jersey and having a huge moment of vulnerability when talking about her journey on the show, including her family drama and jail time…that is, until Victoria ruined it.

Regardless, I am excited to see more from her AND it makes me excited to see this season of RHONJ! A miracle!

Lisa is lucky to be here and she knows it. And THAT is important! I fear Heather would have been too jazzed to be included (I am a Heather apologist, but she’s too much of a fan and would have made things weird!), Mary would have been too confused by the whole thing, I don’t think they’d even consider asking Whitney and Meredith would have been too….Meredith. So the Queen of Sundance being in mix makes sense and I appreciate them even including RHOSLC at all! Some might rank her lower, but her commentary is already spot on, including her references to pterodactyls and decision to wear a coat with a fur collar on the boat ride.

No one is doing it like her.

Third on the pyramid is Gizelle. To be honest, it was hard to rank these final three but it had to be done!! And while Gizelle is making sure to do her best work in terms of pot stirring, even and especially with women not even on the trip, I still think our final two contributors outrank her—that being said GIVE HER A RAISE!!! She literally handed RHOC their storyline this season and Bravo should be grateful because without this fight at The Quiet Women, all we’ve got are TikTok’s and a dildo in a Dior.

Gizzy knows how to clock a storyline without mass producing and it’s one of the many reasons why production was smart to call her up. Between this, her friendship with Porsha, her rooming with Lu and this HORRENDOUS WIG, I think she’s the bridge we need between having a good time and making sure we keep the story moving and the shady being tossed back and forth as much as possible.

I WENT BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND SO IT’S ESSENTIALLY A TIE. My reasoning for giving Porsha second versus top of the pyramid is because, those of us who are watching RHOA (it’s having one of it’s best seasons in years and is LAUGH OUT LOUD FUNNY), I feel like we’re just seeing more of her brilliance and therefore it’s not AS fleeting/ exciting as our gal at the top of the pyramid.

That being said, can whoever made sure Porsha had a spot on this trip please some get your flowers!! We had so many icons in Atlanta to chose from—Cynthia Bailey is a staple and another RHUGT vet, Phaedra is so funny it hurts and is no stranger to Bravo and Peacock spinoffs and, of course, Nene is Atlanta Housewives through and through and would have been a get—but Porsha was the necessary addition to add a little fun to this group!!! She is making the girls LAUGH, even when shit wasn’t necessarily funny (looking at you, Vicki!)

As if the episode wasn’t confirmation enough, watching her on WWHL this week you can tell Andy LOVES having her on and getting her to share her perspective and is often times agree with her/having a little side convo that makes me think she’s a favorite of his and production because she knows how to keep things moving and light while making sure to incite some drama when necessary.

Again, it was between Luann and Porsha for me, but having Lu back on our screens just brings me a feeling of joy and comfort that I cannot get anywhere else. Her smashing the picture of Slade, singing “Like A Virgin” to herself, eye-fucking the bunco men who weren’t even remotely attractive…

The list goes on and on for why Lu is one of the greatest Housewives of all time and in the running for the #1 spot so having her here to represent RHONY just feels right. I cannot wait to see who she has us visiting when we get to the East Coast and watch her self-promote her new song so much that the other women start singing it and I just feel like we’re meeting a lighter Lu every time we see here and think the combination of her, Porsha and Gizelle could carry a show (and probably will.)

Tune in next week (hopefully) to see Vicki stay in last place because I highly doubt she’s suddenly going to become the breath of fresh air she’s never been!! Let me know if you agree with my rankings below!
