When I think of an adult cookie, a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie is the first one that comes to mind. As a kid, I used to love these cookies but would always pick out the macadamia nuts and that’s when I realized I just wanted a white chocolate chip cookie lol.

I never understood why adults liked desserts with nuts so much. I always felt like they ruined the dessert. but now that I'm an adult with a more sophisticated palate, I realized that couldn’t be further from the truth!

The white chocolate chip cookies are the perfect blend of sweet and salty! I used roasted sea salt macadamia nuts for the saltiness and white chocolate chips for the sweetness. What makes these cookies even better is the extra layer of white chocolate on the bottom of each cookies because even though we’re adults and we like nuts now, the white chocolate is still the best part!
