Binkie Positions: a photo essay

I shared these photos to my Instagram feed yesterday but I think they deserve a place here on the blog.

Japhy and Hazel love their “binkies.” They even have a cue for getting tucked in (“tuck tuck”). Wherever we are (currently inside my parents’ home as our heater in the van isn’t working), they usually have a binkie nearby.

I recently noticed that I have a lot of photos on my phone of these two under a binkie in different positions, and I had to laugh. I hope the following short photo essay will make you laugh today, too.

NB: Somehow Japhy always ends up with his head covered and his nether regions uncovered. 🤷‍♀️ Also, Japhy is a chewer, so most of our blankets feature his handywork (toothywork?), but he’s actually getting better about NOT chewing on them, which is nice. :)
