My solo creator business took in $209,440.11 in the first 5 months of this year. No team. No employees. No launch calendar. Just me, a handful of income streams, and a rule I’ve been teaching for years that I finally stopped violating myself.
Now, that’s not all profit, but I don’t run ads, don’t pay 3rd party companies, and I don’t have employees.
A Quick Note on the Numbers: The financial results mentioned in this post are my own and are the result of years of testing, consistency, and hard work. Building a creator business takes effort, and there is no guarantee of specific financial outcomes. Your success will depend on your own dedication, strategy, and market factors.
You know I bring the receipts!
You scale by doing less.
Not less effort. Less everything else. Fewer platforms. Fewer topics. Fewer content types that aren’t working. The most successful people figure out the one thing they do better than anyone else, and they stop doing everything else. I’ve been saying this in every coaching call for a decade. It took me embarrassingly long to fully live it.
Here’s the framework I use now, and why it changed everything.
