Welcome to Final_Final_Final, an on-going series focused on the documentation of inspiration, references and digital ephemera.
Every week, Raeland or a close friend of the newsletter shares a moodboard of 10 images along with a brief commentary.
Logging On is a weekly sprint through the timeline — Raeland Mendoza filters the noise into his takes on fashion, media, music, and whatever is moving the needle.

Erykah, aka MORE LONG TALK returns for this weeks moodboard.
“This one is a little freaky, I must admit. But it’s August, and if your summer isn’t at least a little bit freaky by now, you have not been doing it correctly. I felt that ‘Pleasure Principle’ was an apt title for this chapter, because it feels very hedonistic.
I have been drawn to a lot of bright colours and textures lately. It represents having more of an exploratory attitude to life. Discovering Supreme Beings of Leisure after coming across their insane cover art was a huge win for me, and it has quickly inspired my eye and the aesthetics I’m leaning into since listening to them religiously over the last couple of weeks. Groovy, unique, and against the grain.
The goal is to try to appreciate the brightness of the season before the rain takes over again, so until that happens I’m painting my nails blue, putting on a crazy hat a-la-Jamiroquai, and dancing to some crazy records with no pants because it’s still too damn hot.”
Erykah aka MORE LONG TALK works in fashion, is an occasional cultural curator, and writer in Vancouver.
