Sometimes the loudest voice telling us to quit isn’t out there—it’s inside. But here’s the truth: your story isn’t finished. You’ve got more to live, more to give, and more to become. This piece is for anyone who’s ever felt like giving up.

In my last piece, I said: Whoever counted you out can’t count.
But here’s the truth—sometimes we count ourselves out.

It’s not over when the fat lady sings.
Who told you it was over?
It’s over only when God says it’s over.

So don’t sit down now.
It’s time to rise.
We’re just getting started.
You’ve got so much more life to live.
You can’t quit now.

Whatever you want to do, you can do it.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t—
Even if that voice is your own.

Write that book.
Write that poem.
Write that song.
Start that business.
Get that degree.
Love again.
Dream again.
Believe again.
Be free.
Be you again.

Instead of counting yourself out, count your blessings.
Because the story isn’t finished.
And the best chapters are still ahead.
