The Tragedy about Trump Followers

I’d give Kamala a B. Only because I would have liked a little less hand waving and more gravitas—it would have made her stronger. She was clearly nervous, but did settle as Trump began to lose control and turn into a puddle of protest.

She will only get better. Thank god. She otherwise really landed some good ones and bravo for her courage and ability to keep her head on straight.

I wish that she had looked into the camera after Trump dumped his shitty lie about immigrants eating people’s pets and said:

Okay, I’m saying this to you, all of you loyal followers of this damaged man here tonight.

This is a man who boasted in 2016 that you, his supporters, are so loyal that he would not lose backers even if he were to shoot someone in the middle of downtown Manhattan.

Do you get that he was really saying that you’re stupid?

You have no idea how much he abuses you, insults your intelligence, and manipulates you.

He thinks he can hand you a bonkers line about immigrants eating people’s pets and you will swallow it and not even question his sanity???

He’s got you all suited up, buying his worthless crap that’s made in China and now that he’s branded you, he’s brainwashed you too.

You see who he is dying to hang out with — Putin, richest man in the world.

Do not think for a moment he would ever want to hang out with you if he couldn’t use you for his own self-interest.

He does not respect you. He thinks you are beneath him.

Meanwhile, he has killed thousands of you with his Covid mismanagement, dishonored the sacrifice of your loved ones in the military, put you deep in debt with the tax cut he gave his rich friends, and tries to sell you a story that tariffs are going to make our country rich, when all they do is make foreign countries raise their prices on goods you want and need—(he’s so dumb about money, it’s no wonder he went through bankruptcy six times).

He’s brought violence and hate into your lives, ruined your relationships with your families, destroyed your communities, and threatened the safety and well-being of your children.

This cruel, vain man, who will let you stand in 110 degree heat while he bloviates for two hours does not deserve you.

This sick man is now actually prompting you and your loved ones into shedding blood for him so he can get back in power and destroy our democracy.
