24 hours from now we will have the first live meeting for The Game of Life Book Experience.
It’s a 12-week guided journey to live the principles of The Game of Life and How to Play It—emotionally, spiritually, and practically—so the book stops being inspirational and starts being transformational.
It’s free to join the Living the Game of Life community on Skool and participate.
It’s been suggested more than once that I should charge for this, but that’s not my vision. Ever since I had the idea of publishing the book, I knew I wanted to lead a group through it and I knew I wanted it to be accessible to anyone (you don’t even have to buy my copy of the book to join - though it’s available here if you want to.)
What You’ll Get
A lived, guided experience of The Game of Life and How to Play It—not just ideas, but integration
A deeper trust in yourself and your ability to respond to life with clarity instead of fear
A practical, grounded connection to divine guidance you can recognize and follow
Tools to release emotional resistance that blocks flow and ease
A new way of relating to challenges, delays, and desires without forcing outcomes
Supportive community reflection that helps the work land and stay with you
Mondays, January 12th - March 30th
7pm-8:30pm CST

January is a time when there is a huge surge of people all focused on goals and future plans at the same time. You could say the energy is moving that way. Catch the current and it will carry you. I love it, because I’ve always enjoyed the visioning process.
That also makes January a great time to consider the Divine Design of your life, as Florence Scovel Shinn likes to say.
There is something you are to do, which no one else can do, your destiny.
Destiny can be a funny word, some people think it means you have no choice, you have to do it.
I believe that it’s what you are meant to do, and that it will call to you throughout your life. No matter what decisions you make, you will eventually be brought back around to it in one way or another.
There will be nudges and whispers from your heart. Whether you hear them (and listen to them) is up to you. The more you follow those hunches, the more will arrive.
As you make your plans and set your goals for the year ahead, consider the Divine Design of your life.
We did not come here just to survive. If there is a “perfect idea” for your life in Divine Mind, don’t you want to find it?
Florence says:
“Infinite Spirit, open the way for the Divine Design of my life to manifest; let the genius within me now be released; let me see clearly the perfect plan.”
The perfect plan will include health, wealth, love and perfect self-expression.
Perfect self-expression will never be labor; but of such absorbing interest that it will seem almost like play.
I have always loved books and learning. In following those interests, in a very nonlinear way, I eventually found myself publishing the 100th anniversary edition of The Game of Life and How to Play It, and creating a community that will be starting a book study (or Book Experience as I like to call it) tomorrow!
This to me does feel like play; an absorbing interest that I am currently obsessed with.
And as I have moved along this path, I have seen other things light up a little further down the path, related ideas and interests, that are now goals and plans.
For the last few years before, I was frustrated that nothing seemed to work out, and I kept hitting dead-ends and turning back.
Now, I am grateful for those dead-ends that each taught me something, whether a skill that I am now using, or something about myself. I am grateful that I kept being taken back until I began to move down the path that I feel is truly meant for me.
Do you feel you are on your true path? Do you feel that you know what you were meant to do?
PS - I don’t think the Divine Design is like a repeating pattern forever the same, I think it’s a winding path that moves through the landscape, changing and shifting with you as you progress along it.
I will be sending out another email tomorrow.
It’s a week of many things.
It is uncommon for me to send out multiple emails in one week, so please bear with me as I get the information out for all the things.
And we will be back to our regular schedule next week.
