Last week, after the session, I got a piece of feedback that I will NOT ACCEPT.
The portfolio Sima and I presented looked “too perfect.”
Someone wrote in the post-session survey that they wanted something more realistic. Something less perfect.
I’ve got bad news.
It IS realistic. It IS achievable.
And it’s the bar.
So instead of listening to the people who want less, I’m going to listen to my own instincts and give you more.
Next Thursday, I’m bringing someone very special to me.
Kate was one of the hires I made last year. So this is a proud moment — I get to introduce you to someone I discovered through my own agency.
And damn, that was not an easy process.
It was one of those searches where you want something you can’t quite put into words — so you just have to go and find it. Three months in, I was starting to doubt whether I was even the right person for this.
Then Kate’s portfolio popped up.
The moment I opened it, I knew.
Not “maybe.” Not “let’s see.”
I knew, for a fact, that this was my hire. What a strong impression.
And I wasn’t the only one who felt it. The team went crazy. After the first and the second conversation, the founder said it felt too good to be true — so we went into the task. Needless to say, Kate smashed everything. One week later, we signed the offer.
That was an awesome learning for all of us. But for me, it was the best kind of discovery: a designer with no big brand names on the CV, and a level of craft strong enough to pack into such a gorgeous portfolio.

Was any of this easy for Kate? Absolutely not.
That’s exactly why I want to bring her to you.
I want you to hear the real story — the struggle, the pivots, the feedback she had to take to get to this point, and how she actually feels about her portfolio and her work right now.
It’s going to be a very honest one. It’s going to be inspiring. It’s going to challenge some of your beliefs. And it’s going to give you a lot of clues.
