First off, thank you so much for being one of the first parents to support me in building this local community for curious kids.

Learning Lot is truly a passion project straight from my heart 💛

As a mom, I’ve always wanted my child to feel excited about learning - to have his numerous questions answered, to follow his curiosity, and to connect with others who share similar interests. But I didn’t see that happening in school… and honestly, not much out of school either.

At the same time, I kept meeting people - tutors, coaches, parents, mentors - who had so much knowledge and passion, and a genuine desire to share it with kids. That’s when it clicked for me: what if I could match my kid with curious kids nearby and the people who could spark their learning? ✨💡 People who could answer their questions, expose them to new ideas, and let them dive deep into what excites them - rather than forcing them to follow a rigid curriculum.

Together with my family and a couple of friends, we’ve spent over a year exploring different ways of learning - arranging classes, experimenting, and learning alongside our children. What we discovered was simple yet powerful: just get the kids and these inspiring people in a room together, and let the kids lead. Kids share ideas, spark curiosity in each other, make friends, and grow in ways that don’t happen in traditional environments.

They’ve built electrical circuits with sensors, joysticks, and screens with a hardware engineer; learned how to use a stethoscope and reflex hammer from an actual med resident; drawn detailed diagrams of E. coli cells; and tackled kinds of math I’d never even heard of. And these are just 7y olds!

By sharing the cost of tutors and meeting in our living rooms instead of expensive facilities, something like this is possible. We’ve been able to keep it affordable and explore a wide variety of people and classes we couldn’t have tried otherwise.

What started as an experiment in our living room has grown into something worth sharing. And I’d love for your family to be part of it. Our kids deserve to have their curiosity be nurtured and to be in charge of their own learning.

We’re inviting You to be among the very first families to join our pilot. 🫶🏼 To thank our early community, we’re opening the pilot at no cost for our first group of Founding Members. All you need to do is 🔗 go here and tell us your needs. We’ll reach out with matches for your family.
