I’ve spent a slightly alarming amount of time scrolling recently. Once I get into the habit of looking for stock, it becomes an obsession. But luckily for me- and perhaps less luckily for my bank account- it has resulted in lots of lovely stock for Lazy Home. Here’s what’s recently landed on the website.
Pair of Carved Stone Fish Bookends
These bookends are adorable. I love the dark green-grey colour, the hand-etched fish and the rounded edges. They’re such an unusual pair and would look GORGEOUS on a shelf filled with books. Shop here.
These candelabras are super cute! Handmade from horseshoes, they’re the perfect way to display candles on a dining table or shelf. Their brutalist feel pairs so nicely with a vase of flowers. Shop here.
As a ceramics enthusiast, one of my favourite things to do at the moment is collect lots of smaller pieces and mix and match them on my stall or at home. Each one has a beautifully different glaze, and they’re some of the most versatile pieces you can own. From jewellery to olives, there’s not much they can’t hold. Shop here.
I love how much character this little chair has. A low rustic occasional chair with a chunky turned-wood frame and woven rush seat. It would look gorgeous styled in a bedroom, tucked beside a fireplace or used as an occasional chair in the corner of a room. Shop here.
Pair of Brass Ashtrays
Much like the studio pottery pieces, vintage ashtrays are also a great vessle for many items. The smaller ashtray is an old French advertising piece, while the larger one has a beautifully simple, textured finish. Perfect little catch-alls for jewellery, keys, incense or anything else you need to find a home for. Shop here.
One of my favourite paintings I’ve sourced recently. I love the colours, texture and slightly wonky composition - it has so much character. This painting is such an easy way to bring colour into a room, whether on a wall or simply propped on a shelf or sideboard. Shop here.
So there you have it: a couple of weeks of spending way too much time on my phone, but at least I have some beautiful new stock to show for it. I can’t say I’ll be keeping this habit up- I really need to finish the book I’ve been trying to get into for weeks. Plus, nothing beats sourcing in person.
And with that, I’ll see you next time!
Jade xx
