When I was a pre-teen, I went through a period where I challenged core assumptions I had about the world. As if jolted awake by my first dose of sentience, I asked myself whether the things I learned from teachers, parents, peers, siblings, and my own inferences and observations were true. What does it even mean for something to be “true”? I had no idea where to start, or what to start, only that I needed to start doing something, lest I waste away this gift of unburdened cognition.
Thus began a several year renaissance, percolating just beneath the surface of my acne riddled face and socially anxious demeanor. With capital T Truth as my north star (a moving target in a world where what was “true” to me changed by the day), I systemically rebuilt myself, down to the intellectual studs and up again. I wanted to believe in reality as it really was, not as I wanted it to be. I wanted to be able to look into the sun outside Plato’s cave until my corneas melted into biosludge, unblinking and unafraid to lock eyes with Truth. It wasn’t a perfect process, I couldn’t even drive for most of it, but I can look back from my vantage a decade in the future and smile at the memories of a gangly and uncoordinated 15 year old kid trudging home from football practice and grinding his way through dense, complicated works meant to solidify his worldview as he approached manhood. Outside of the retarded amounts of schoolwork heaped upon me, I felt like Giles Corey.
While I was dimly aware that this is not something everyone does, only recently did I uncover an implicit bias in believing everyone did something like this. Even so-called lunch table debates that were not necessarily academic in nature still hit on some of life’s bigger questions.
Stacey Patton is a decisive case-in-point against this theory. A cursory glance at Stacey’s profile, her writing, her bio, her restacks or whatever, will tell you that you are not reading the thoughts of a person that meted out the truthfulness of her beliefs with gentle care for cognitive dissonance. Stacey’s worldview did not emerge, forged from rational inquiry, it incubated, gestated, metastasized, in an enclosure. The tripe I’m responding to today:
is the product of a mind that was never challenged or even inconvenienced. Stacey is not an individual, she is not a free thinker. Stacey is a series of cascading identities that emerge and take shape only when they are convenient. She holds a PhD in “African American studies” (not a real discipline) despite believing formal education is a plank in whitey’s systemic racism enterprise. Thankfully, Howard University stepped in to offer her a paid professorship funded through racist American tax dollars and facilitated by racist American government HBCU programs. We can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing armed men with guns will show up to your house unless you surrender half of your paycheck so Stacy can pen such illuminating manuscripts as:

“There’s no cost to white people who call 911 about black people. There should be.” The Washington Post, May 16, 2018.
She also has a weird fascination with spanking and the corporal punishment of children, which I can sort of get behind as someone that is planning to seldom spank his not-yet-delivered daughter (a perspective, by the way, that I reversed based on the overwhelming evidence that spanking doesn’t work and is bad for the cognitive development of children), but even this is filtered through her blackness:

This one is actually understandable given just how many blacks think appropriate household management means letting your (mostly illegitimate) children run rampant until you point the joint and TikTok down to beat the living shit out of them.
That’s enough about Stacey. You can read her garbage and come to your conclusions about who she is and whether she is capable of attaining an actual PhD in an actual field. Nothing about her is particularly novel or interesting, she is a living composite of all the worst stereotypes of black HR ladies. We’re going to let her words speak for her, as mine will here.
Note: I’m a pseudoanonymous iFunny refugee with no public credentialing to hide behind. This post will be an exercise in Free Speech, as I’m sure it will get reported gorrillions of times by Stacey’s audience. Substack moderators: while I am planning to be a little mean to Stacey, given her vile behavior, nothing in this article violates the Terms of Service. Do not nuke my account, I’m trusting you!
Stacey begins with a picture of Austin and Hunter Metcalf dressed in non-matching camouflage outfits, posing with AR-15s. Anyone who has ever left the city limits before could tell you they are out deer hunting, given the attachments on their rifles and the ad hoc camouflage outfits. They’re probably on their way to or from a deer stand. If I had to guess, Dad took the picture. This alone is enough to send Stacey into a rage.
You and I both know what Stacey is about to say. I’m writing this as I react in “real time”, so let’s take a bet right now that she is going to trot out the same nasty rhetoric against rural America that I already addressed and laughed at here:
[Jeff Metcalf, Austin’s father] insisted this case was “never about race.” He said, “We all bleed the same color.” And he described his grief not as sadness, but as “rage” — “pure unfiltered rage.” And then he turned that rage on the Black 19-year-old sitting before him.
Even as this post-racial American tries his hardest to look past the obvious anti-white hatred in this case against his own child, Stacey refuses to offer the grieving father an ounce of courtesy or human decency. Instead, she drops a loaded capital B “Black” in to clue in the audience about whose side they’re supposed to be on. What are the odds she capitalizes the W in White?
“You failed your parents, you failed yourself, and you failed society. You don’t belong in this community.” He also reportedly told him, “You’re going to prison,” and, “You can’t even look me in the eyes right now, but you can stab my fucking son in the heart.”
And right there, in his own words, Jeff Metcalf told on himself.
Oh yeah, I’m sure he did. I’m sure this address of a mourning father to the 75IQ murderer of his beloved son wouldn’t pass the 5 minute presentation Final in one of your Howard courses. Jeff really should’ve consulted with you before he addressed Karmelo.
He thought he was only giving us a portrait of a lost beloved son. A baby gripping his father’s finger. A boy learning to fish. A boy taking his first buck. A son, a twin, a leader, a “true warrior.” But he was also telling us what was taught inside his home and about the cultural socialization that helped his son meet his fate under that track meet tent in April 2025.
So let’s talk about Jeff Metcalf’s failure as a father.
I hope you can see the bias here. Stacey wants to talk about Jeff’s “failure” because he’s white. She doesn’t want to talk about Karmelo’s atypically present parent’s failure of creating someone capable of stabbing an unarmed classmate in the heart over trivialities, because they’re black. There’s no deeper introspection or mental calculus going on here: Stacey has to attack Jeff because he’s white and she’s black and her entire existence serves at the altar of American blackness because she’s included in that group and is selfish and can only succeed by flashing the badge of Black Americanness. His “failure”, in her eyes, was having white children. I’m sure she’d be equally opposed to him wifing up a Black Queen, on grounds that her offspring could pay the Ice Price, much like Drake’s firstborn:
Because when Trayvon Martin was killed
*When Trayvon was correctly, ethically, and righteously shot in self defense.
I understand that you’re going to take the side of the darkest person in the room no matter what, but I find it hard to believe that you, even you, Stacey, adjudicate trials solely through this criteria. Do you also think OJ Simpson was innocent because he was black? Are you a blatant, one dimensional racial fetishist grifter or did you rightly groan at the miscarriage of justice in the OJ case? Sure doesn’t look like that’s what you’re doing here.
this country put a dead Black child on trial
Note that you don’t have a problem with this in theory, you’re doing it to Austin Metcalf right now, you have a problem with this instance because Travyon is (or should I say “was”, Lol! #FAFO) black. This appears to be the sole factor in your decision making process. Let’s get back to you putting a dead White child on trial.
They picked through his school records, his hoodie, his social media pics, his text messages, his teenage moods, his parents, his family structure, and every ordinary adolescent detail they could twist into evidence that he had somehow authored his own death.
Shameless retard, what are you doing in this exact article to Austin Metcalf? Unbelievable.
When Mike Brown Jr. was killed, they turned his body into a referendum on his character.
Maybe because Mike Brown was a massive and powerful man violently resisting arrest.
They called him a thug.
Mike Brown was, in fact, a thug. You’re falsely drawing a conclusion that most milquetoast American Whites believed he should die because he was a thug, when in reality he was a repeat criminal known to be dangerous to the community and the police officers that intercepted him even as he reached for their weapons.
Thugs are a celebrated part of black culture. Until that changes, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
You should be bringing up actual innocent victims like Philando Castile, but his name evades you because your trainers handlers didn’t want to give the spotlight to a black man lawfully concealed carrying (as protection against other black men).
They circulated video. They scrutinized his size, his behavior, his family and neighborhood, his choices and gestures, and his very posture in the world, as if any of it justified leaving his body baking in the street for hours in front of his people.
His body laid there, in part, because he was killed in Ferguson, Missouri, a famously dysfunctional neighborhood of the Battle Royale arena formerly known as St. Louis. Bodies lay in streets as a matter of routine there.
Btw Stacey, Ferguson sucks because black people live there. Because people like you live there. Ferguson is 71% black, meaning it is 100% uninhabitable for anyone that doesn’t want to lay down suppressive fire on the Mike Brown Jrs. of the world so they can check their mail without getting swiss cheesed by Sexxy Redd and co.
When Tamir Rice was killed, they even found a way to interrogate a twelve-year-old. They scrutinized his toy gun, his parents, home life, school history, neighborhood, and the judge blamed him for his death by saying he should have known better because he was “big for his age.” A child was gunned down by police in a park within seconds, and America still asked what his family had done wrong.
Tamir was shot because he was waving an all-black airsoft gun in the faces of random people outside a recreation center in Cleveland. As even state-sponsored propaganda foundry Wikipedia correctly states:
A caller reported that a male was pointing "a pistol" at random people at the Cudell Recreation Center, a park in Cleveland's Public Works Department. The caller twice told the dispatcher that the pistol was "probably fake", and also stated that the male was "probably a juvenile"; the dispatcher did not relay either of these statements to [responding officers] Loehmann and Garmback.
So, for everyone keeping score at home, Stacey is now 0/3 on demonstrating previous injustices suffered by black Americans because they were black. Nonetheless, she has already dispensed verdicts on these situations after a quick glance to determine who was black and who wasn’t.
So now, Jeff Metcalf, let us return this ugly ritual in kind.
Yeah, because you definitely earned the right to lambast him for his crime of noticing his child was culturally enriched at a track meet.
Since this country loves to examine Black parents when Black children die
When we can find them, of course. For some reason, lots of the fathers are unavailable to comment. Maybe you can try the payphone at the local prison.
let us examine you
With all the black girl magic of a tenured Howard University professor, let’s!
Since America loves to ask what Black mothers and fathers failed to teach
Where? Facebook comment sections? Every powerful institution in this country outside the (current, temporary) Executive Branch is on your side and has been since the 1960s.
let us ask what you failed to teach your son.
I’m with you on this one. Parents everywhere should be teaching their children the prescient precept: “Around blacks, never relax!”. If Austin had followed these words, he might be alive today.
Since dead Black boys are never allowed to remain innocent
Gangbangers and home invaders that fall in the line of duty do not magically become innocent.
let us stop pretending dead white boys are beyond scrutiny.
We should generally have respect for the dead, but since you’re “going there”, maybe I will too.
Let us refuse the sentimental immunity given to dead white boys and grieving white fathers.
By whom? Stacey never quantifies or qualifies any of these statements. Instead, she relies on rhetorical power and viciousness for inspiration— safe in the knowledge that her blessed institutions will stop anyone from hitting back.
Let’s go post-mortem up in here.
Less get cuh-razy up in dis BITCH!
You stood in that courtroom and told a Black teenager he failed his parents, himself, and society.
Because the black teenager in question is a psychopath who did not uphold his responsibility to his parents or society. His black skin does not take away from this fact.
But perhaps the harder truth is that you failed your son first.
Oh brother…
In your own memorial language, you told us about the kind of white boyhood Austin was raised inside. It was a boyhood steeped in conquest language, hunting rituals, warrior fantasies, masculine toughness, and the romance of force.
Here is where our paths start to diverge and the “Two Americas” theory (it’s really more like Five Americas) manifests.
White Americans have a culture and history that you are not a part of, that you could never understand. We are the descendants of explorers, thegns, clerics, warriors, plainsmen, cowboys, legionnaires, soldiers, scientists, astronauts, and a million more identities that those with faces and skin and muscles and intelligence and muscle mass like us have assumed. The American hunting tradition, the finest in the world, comes from a pre-Industrial world in which the tough-as-nails individualist American man relied only on himself to stay alive. This, in turn, comes from the martial tradition of the beautiful and ancient English people, who have long seen their prowess in war as a distinctly English virtue. Europe is full of these cultures, and that’s partly why you pay money to vacation in Italy, France, and the like, and nobody pays money to vacation in Ferguson, Missouri or Cleveland, Ohio. Because people like you live there.
You’re bringing up these qualms, “conquest language”, “warrior fantasies” and the like, because you’re a rootless cosmopolitan who has never been anywhere or done anything except wait for the next taxpayer looted money sack to hit your bank account because you “work” as a narcissist who talks about and studies herself. You think White culture is living in the suburbs (created to get away from people like you) or eating “unseasoned food”, or poorly dancing to Imagine Dragons. You have no command of history, no way to understand that Whites are actually the most culturally rich and diverse people on Earth, because your own culture is an offshoot of ours that revolves around fried foods, public assistance abuse, gaudy displays of wealth, insecurity, and anti-intellectualism.
Oh, and it’s also extremely violent. Rap songs have long been war chants for gangsters about to kill their section 8 companions over minor slights, sort of like Karmelo!
You told us about a child praised not just for being kind, curious, gentle, or careful, but for becoming a “leader” and a “warrior” in a racist culture where those words too often mean dominance.
You really hate White people, don’t you?
Oh, I guess she doesn’t try to hide it, at least.
You honestly think a child, one with two involved parents (you don’t meet many atop your Ebony tower at “HBCU” Howard, I’m sure), can’t be both a capable warrior, and kind and gentle? That’s probably because you and I have two very different ideas of what a “warrior” is. Mine have ambitions and capabilities and virtues and callings that extend far beyond the ghetto people like you stand around and shoot each other in.
Here’s a great quote from one explaining precisely how to reconcile these traits that you are attempting to hold in contradiction:
Note that they’re called “gentlemen” because they are choosing to retain their strength and treat others with gentleness when they don’t have to; only the strong can be merciful or gentle. Precisely the opposite behavior of impulsive and entitled Karmelo.
You, sir, told us that Austin learned early how to hold a weapon, how to aim, how to take down a living thing, how to be proud of the kill, how to have that moment folded into the mythology of father and son.
These traditions have been a part of American identity for centuries, and of White identity since the dawn of time. These are primordial, timeless rites of passage that you never encountered in that diverse shithole New Jersey, because they entail having a present father (you’re adopted), and driving perhaps fifteen minutes away from the nearest hot chicken joint, bodega, abortion clinic, public basketball court, public outdoor shooting range park, or slum.
This tells us something about the values and emotional curriculum being cultivated around him and about what kind of white masculinity was being celebrated.
Yes. It does.
Because white boys are not born believing they have jurisdiction over other people’s bodies.
Correct.
They are taught.
Uhh.. aren’t you pro choice? Abortion has an entire mythos around women being allowed to have “jurisdiction” over someone else’s body (by ripping their limbs off and vacuuming out their brains while they shriek in pain).
They are trained by fathers, coaches, peers, churches, schools, gun culture, sports culture, hunting culture, and a nation
You sound jealous, Stacey.
that keeps confusing aggression with leadership and entitlement with confidence.
You voted for Kamala Harris.
So when you stood in that courtroom and said Karmelo Anthony failed his parents, himself, and society, you skipped right over the part where you had just described the social world that shaped your own son.
Yes, because the grieving father of the victim in the court room needs to use his impact statement to address the orc hordes protesting outside and ensure he apologies for raising him right. The same hordes that will hate him because he’s White, even if he performatively apologizes for his Whiteness during his victim impact statement.
YOU taught Austin what it meant to be a “warrior.”
Good. I’m sure you’d rather let Young Dolph and Chief Keef and Pooh Sheisty do this, instead of a good father expressing a culture he was handed from time immemorial. Note that the “warrior” in this circumstance has been correctly instructed how to restrain force, where Stacey is shrieking about a certain “warrior” who has never had to restrain anything his entire life, including his spastic violent impulses.
YOU taught him that toughness was honorable.
Because it is. Your own culture thinks this too, haven’t you listened to your people’s warrior odes of grinding in the trenches, getting it out the mud, securing the bag by any means, or starting from the bottom now we here yuh? Are you racist? Do I know more about black America than the Kangz Studies PhD?
YOU taught him that taking up space was normal.
Blackademics have this awful way of writing that makes everything sound like a ridiculous and masturbatory panegyric, like when they dubbed “recalling something” as “memory work” and other such BS. What does this buzzword salad even mean?
YOU taught him that confrontation was courage
All men should be ready to stand up to evil when the time comes. Even if that evil takes the form of a cagey and entitled 18 year old black savage with a knife in his backpack at a track meet.
YOU socialized Austin into entitlement long before he ever reached that track meet.
Entitlement for what, staying alive? Surviving encounters with black people? Using the appropriate amount of force (almost zero) for the situation? Are we “entitled” for imagining we should be allowed to walk down any street in America without people like you making it unsafe?
YOU failed to teach your boy that Black children have boundaries.
The crux of Stacey’s opinion is that Austin Metcalf “started it” by touching Karmelo. Remember how I started this article talking about implicit biases? Stacey thinks everyone is so steeped in Michael B. Jordan movies and Kendrick Lamar songs that we all know not to touch a black person, ever, because slavery or something. This is one of the unspoken rules of black culture that they think they are, as Stacey might say, irrationally entitled to. You might recall that black people are, in fairness, nearly pathologically obsessed with drawing lines in the sand and boundaries—likely because they grew up in environments where boundaries aren’t respected. This behavior presents itself in some weird ways. For example they spend ridiculous amounts on perfumes and beauty products because they don’t want to be accused of reeking (intruding on someone else’s boundaries with their smell) and thus getting exiled from the room. They are even more sensitive about others, particularly Whites, touching their hair, typically justified by some fantasies about slave owners fetishizing black hair or something.
For those of us who aren’t retarded black nationalists, we might see Austin’s decision to “help Karmelo leave” as prudent and appropriate, and Karmelo’s decision to stab Austin in the heart instantly as… maybe a slight overreaction. Stacey would agree if the races were reversed, by the way, she’s sticking to this byline because this is all the pro-black side has. They have to make the mere act of touching a black person a death sentence. Unfortunately, Austin was taught to be “colorblind” and pretend we live in a high trust society where one might reasonably expect to survive lightly pushing an intruder after asking him to leave a dozen times.
Therefore, the entire black defense of Karmelo is that Austin gave him, as multiple witnesses described, a “gentle shove” to get him moving out of the tent. Uh oh, party foul! In black culture, the war dance begins with shrieking the same phrase in each other’s faces several dozen times while you circle one another like wolves. The future doctor that touches his opponent is initiating the fight to the death, which is why Karmelo felt entitled to kill someone for attempting to lightly correct him after a mere 15 warnings in 5 minutes. Note that you’ll never see blacks in bar fights, scraps, sporting event spats, or brawls where both sides are not really trying to seriously injure the other. They’re either “talkin dey shit” about the violence they plan to inflict, or trying to kill their opponent—typically with weapons or giant swarms of backup waiting offstage in a ritual known as “jumping”. Which is hilarious, given that most of them live in extremely racially homogenous areas, yet they still have all the traits of a low trust society. I wonder why? I wonder what the single factor all of these “bad neighborhoods” have in common is?
YOU failed teach humility, restraint, or the sacred fact that another person’s body is not your jurisdiction. YOU failed to teach him that another child’s space is not a challenge to be conquered. YOU failed to teach him that “community” does not mean white boys get to decide who belongs and who does not.
This is all retarded Blackademic babble not worth addressing except for the part about “community”. Karmelo was attempting to get out of the rain during a track meet he wasn’t participating in, ducking into another school’s tent and immediately causing trouble. That is the “community” Stacey is trying to make racist. It is entirely reasonable to not want a stranger from a different school loitering around in your tent, especially when he’s not supposed to be at the track meet in the first place.
YOU obviously failed to teach your son that touching, confronting, crowding, testing, or policing another person can have consequences. And YOU failed to teach him that the same world that cheers white boys for being bold and aggressive will not always be there to save them when they mistake somebody else’s restraint for permission.
Again, all this hysteria and crying is because Austin “lightly pushed” the aggressive and instigating Karmelo. In Stacey’s mind, this is a crime worth dying over. Unless the situation was inverted, in which case she would be shrieking about the senseless violence inflicted on a young man following his coach’s orders.
You failed, Jeff.
And I will not let you leave these truths out of the story.
I’m still waiting for the “truths” that permit a stranger with a 5” blade to kill a high school student for justifiably asking him to leave the tent.
It is easier to stand in a courtroom and call Karmelo Anthony a failure than it is to admit that Austin’s death did not begin with the knife.
Did Yakub curse Austin to die eons ago? Did the spirit of Malcom X descend to possess Karmelo before he entered the tent?
It began with every lesson that told your son that he had the right to approach, challenge, and cross a boundary.
Austin used the appropriate amount of “force” in this situation, which is indicative of good parenting. Not that you would know what that is, because your own parents didn’t want you around.
It began with every cultural script that taught him Black boys are the ones to be feared
Uh, is the “cultural script” real life? You know, where black men are almost unimaginably overrepresented in violent crime statistics? I thought “lived experiences” are a valid primary source, or is that just for black people?
but never taught him that Black boys might also be afraid.
They should be afraid of other black boys, who are typically recruited by black men to commit violent crimes as a form of indoctrination and because sentencing for minors is much more lenient.
Because grief and rage are real, Jeff.
Are you drunk off da Henny that the licka stoe employee had to unlock for you, Stacey? You’re saying this to the father of the VICTIM.
Losing a child is an unimaginable rupture no parent should ever have to survive. But
But what? What could you possibly say to this father?
there is something deeply revealing about an adult white man standing in a courtroom, pointing all of that grief and rage at a Black teen, and telling him he failed society and does not belong in the community.
It’s honestly a little disheartening to know that there are millions of people like Stacey, who assess situations purely on the blackest individual involved. And their votes count just as much as mine. This is perhaps the greatest critique of democracy ever visited on the human race. No amount of facts and logic, or Jeff Metcalf saying he doesn’t condone making it a racial issue, or millions of good faith Whites saying they’d support Karmelo if the situation were reversed, is going to change that. Stacey’s religion is blackness. She will not sober up and read the room and apologize for anything. Her Howard check depends on it!
No, sir. You don’t get to stand up there in a courtroom and talk that kind of shit to one of our own.
Like most black women, Stacey is always outraged, always entitled, and never responsible. I think Jeff can say whatever he wants, and you should sit your black ass down and let him mourn in peace.
You don’t get to use the language of grief dressed up in the language of racial banishment.
This is mental illness. Actual quote from Jeff Metcalf addressing pro-white counter protestors:
“You're trying to create more race divide than bridging the gap. I do not condone anything you do.”
Jeff is a sort of bumbling “I don’t see race” egalitarian white, of which there are tens of millions in America. They genuinely believe in MLK’s “judge by his character and not by the color his skin” schtick, which is why Jeff attended a rally for Karmelo Anthony as “an opportunity for the two families to come together in a productive way”, where the black nationalists promptly began shrieking and Dallas PD had to escort him out lest he be lynched.
You do not get to say “this was never about race” and then reach for one of the oldest racial scripts in the American archive: you don’t belong here. WTF!
Stacey is starting to ramble, there’s about ten iterations of this sentence that I’m going to skip. If you think Austin Metcalf walked past other black people to ask a black person to leave because he was black and not because he wasn’t invited to the private team tent (or the track meet at all), you might be helpless.
You didn’t just say, “My son is dead and I am broken.” You said, “You do not belong among us.”
He didn’t, but he should’ve.
Among whom, exactly?
White America and the constellation of other groups we get along with. I am actually not even close to a TND guy (you can look up what that is, Stacey), but this sentiment is growing in Chud circles because we are sick and tired of seeing what kids like Karmelo do to peaceful whites who just want to survive long enough to get to work so they can pay for Karmelo’s welfare.
I really don’t even have a problem with the group you might (racistly) call Uncle Toms. I like hardworking blue collar black families, because I’ve actually met some unlike you, and they are typically deeply embarrassed about the antics of people like you. And I don’t blame them. I know a guy pretty well, who happens to be black, that is a regular joe. He told me he hates watching white families and lone white women wince when he walks by, because he’s a 6’2 28 year old black man i.e. the most likely criminal profile in America. He understands why they do, but its unfortunate and unfair that he gets lumped in with people like you and Karmelo.
You’re aware of this, btw, you have somehow managed to draw the precisely wrong conclusions from this irrefutable reality:
Note that she begins this article with saying:
I don’t do sloppy generalizations and I don’t flatten entire groups into slogans just to make a point land harder. I know exactly how that logic gets weaponized.
Lmao.
Whether you intended it or not, whether you want to admit it or not, “You don’t belong in this community” carries history.
Are you talking about slavery? Do you think this is how 1860s plantation owners talk, or think? Do you think this is how 1960s Sundown town rough necks talk?
It carries sundown towns, schoolhouse doors, and white mobs outside courthouses. It carries the old civic theology of white space, where Black folks are tolerated only so long as they are quiet, grateful, submissive, and available for punishment.
Even when whites make room for you in a white country, it’s not good enough. Stacey, the expectation is that everyone is “quiet, graceful, submissive [to the law] and available for punishment [when rightfully convicted in a nation governed by laws]. That’s what separates us from, oh, say, Africa.
And I’m not about to sit quietly while a Black teenager is verbally exiled from a community
He’s not getting “verbally exiled” he’s getting “physically exiled” to prison. Because he murdered someone.
that had already decided what he was before the facts could even breathe.
You can call stereotypes unfair, but you can’t call them untrue. Isn’t that what you believe in, when you say whites are dorky and sexless and need powdered vegetables for dey seasoning?
“You don’t belong in this community” is not just a father’s grief spilling over.
More rambling here, where Stacey thinks Jeff is targeting Karmelo because he’s black and not because murderers are unfit to live in society.
I’m just going to scroll past a lot of this bloat, you can read it if you want but she’s starting to go in circles. My guess is producing an diatribe of this length is rather taxing compared to the usual workload of a Howard professor.
If we are are [sic] gonna talk about choices and consequences, then we have to talk about all of them.
Ok
We have to talk about Austin’s choice to approach and confront
He was asked to by his coach, Karmelo was a stranger that got immediately hostile, and the whole situation was over in five minutes. So, completely justified behavior.
His choice to touch.
See, they have this weird thing about direct contact. Not even trying to be funny, a lot of it comes from getting smacked around by grandma as kids.
Stacey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with “gently shoving” an aggressive and dangerous stranger out of your tent— especially when asked to by an adult. He was asked to leave by more people than Austin a dozen times beforehand.
I know Jeff, that you cannot fix your mouth to admit that big white boys like your sons make others afraid.
This has to be intentional. She just got done shrieking about Mike Brown for the exact same thing. Mike Brown was 6’4 and 290 pounds. I don’t think Austin was even 6’1.
This one is so ridiculous I am starting to suspect engagement bait, or playing to her audience’s emotional gratification demands.
I know that you cannot imagine that a Black boy might look at a white boy pressing into his space and understand, at a cellular level, that danger does not always announce itself with a hood, a badge, or a gun.
This would imply white-on-black violence is so prevalent that black people develop stereotypes for their own self defense. A perfect inversion of the truth:
But this country made everything about race.
Stacey, your entire existence is about race. Down to the cellular level, you live and breathe race. You have a fake PhD about your own race. Did Whites force you to do that?
Jeff, I watched how you were allowed to slam your hands, shout about your rage, curse, condemn, and banish. And you said nothing about forgiveness.
Uh… why should he?
[Repetitive babble]…Folks will say, “Well, he’s grieving.” But let a Black parent rage like that in a courtroom. Let a Black mother or father slam their hands on a table and say the community failed their child.
They do. Every day. When other black people shoot their kid for wearing the wrong color durag to the corner store.
Let a Black father point at a white defendant and say, “You do not belong here.” The same people sanctifying white rage would suddenly discover decorum.
Paging James Knox , could someone please explain to Stacey the difference between a VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENT and regular court proceedings?
And let me be very clear, Jeff, defending Karmelo Anthony’s humanity is not the same as celebrating Austin Metcalf’s death.
For you, it is. You’re defending his blackness, not his humanity. And you celebrated Austin’s death multiple times in this article, retard lmfao.
[Repetitive babble]…But I know how to hold more than one truth at a time.
No you don’t.
[Repetitive babble]…And a whole country is using the tragedy to rehearse the same old script about Black guilt and white innocence.
I wonder why nobody has ever produced a similar script about, say, Japanese immigrants.
So no, Jeff, Karmelo Anthony did not fail society by existing in a society that has never known how to see Black boys whole.
Nobody said that.
[Repetitive blackademic babble]…Oh, and let me address this line of yours: “You can’t even look me in the eye right now, but you can stab my fucking son in the heart.”
Quite frankly, I am glad Karmelo did not give you the courtesy of looking you in the eye.
Not even sure what to add to this one. What a depraved and disgusting person to concoct these words.
[Repetitive babble]…There was power in him not looking at you. There was refusal in it. There was survival in it. There was an ancient knowing in it.
As someone who has spent substantial amounts of time around young black men (you apparently haven’t), this is an act of disrespect. They do this and pretend to not remember your name. Jeff comes from White culture, where we look a man in the eye and hopefully apologize if you had to murder his son. We own what we do, speak frankly and act straightforwardly. Karmelo instead chose to get one last little jab in, even as he was about to face the consequences of his actions.
Well, hopefully he faces more consequences from Big Jim with the funny tattoos out of Cell Block C.
[Repetitive blackademic babble]…We know that sometimes “look at me” is not a request for humanity. It is a demand for surrender.
And Karmelo did not surrender.
He sat there and withheld the one thing you still thought you were entitled to command. Maybe that is what enraged you most. Not just that Austin is dead. Not just that Karmelo is alive. But that this Black boy would not complete the scene for you. He would not bow his head the way you wanted. He would not offer his face as a screen for your rage. He would not let you turn his eyes into another courtroom exhibit. And maybe, at an ancestral level, he already knew. Besides, he had already seen enough under that tent.
I put this entire rant here so you can see just how repulsive this person’s soul is. She is trying to hurt Jeff, who is never going to read this, feeling’s even as she admits Karmelo is a murderous animal.
These are the words of a pathological narcissist who has grown up in a system that hands out professorships and grants and entries to the library of congress and Grammies and housing vouchers and reparations to a group of people all while telling them they’re the victims.
What a hideous and wretched person you are, Stacey. What a nasty, poop colored bitch.
[retarded blacademic babble]…
You have your dead to mourn. We have our living children to defend.
This is how she ends her rampage, with a vague threat. Even in the closing words of her sacramental offering offered at the altar of black entitlement— where she moved with all the grace of the average (read obese) black woman in mental gymnastics intended to justify a murder because the murderer was black— she can’t help but end with a snarky and ominous line about “defending” future murderers.
You don’t even like children, much less defend them. Otherwise you wouldn’t be pro murder of them in utero.
Stacey, bring it in for a second. Take a seat in that hideous pantsuit I paid for and maybe undo a couple of the dreads constricting circulation to your scalp so you can think clearly.
I want you to acknowledge that you hate me.
You don’t know who am, but you hate me. Me, personally, the guy behind Layne Archive. You hate everything I stand for, everything I am, you hate the identities and beliefs and traits and talents and weaknesses that make me, me.
Let me tell you a little about why you hate me.
I am a tall, muscular white man. I earn a living wage in a technical industry. I am a Christian. I am proud of my European heritage. I like being White. I am consciously, deliberately White. I like small government. I watch hockey and football. I listen to classical music. I read the Great Books, none of whom were penned by black people. I played Runescape growing up. I am as White as they come.
I have a beautiful White wife, and I tell her she’s beautiful often. She has a beautiful mind and a beautiful soul, but she is also physically beautiful because she inherited White traits from her ancestors: beautiful fair skin, beautiful straight blonde hair, deep and striking blue eyes, full lips, a slender nose. She is the envy of the world over, and people like you spend millions to get surgery and alterations to look the way she does by being her White self. In fact, your sistas pay big bucks from dey EBT to buy wigs made out of white women hair. She’s a great cook btw, and she doesn’t cake everything she makes in garlic powder and hot sauce.
I have a loving family and a stable home life. My parents are not divorced. I have a community (of 98% White people) that is fulfilling to participate in, and trustworthy. If I were to fall on hard times, I could ask any of them to support me. I’d never worry if my cousin were going to carjack me, or backdoor my house, or hit a lick on my valuables if I were to crash in their spare room.
I have a wonderful life that I am both undeservingly blessed to have, and work hard to maintain. I have great credit, no debt, no arrest warrants or run ins with the police. I don’t need people like you to be happy, or “contribute to the melting pot”, I want you to stay in your containment zone in the inner cities. These cities are my birthright, btw, but my grandparent’s generation fled to the suburbs in the hopes we might not get Karmelo’d out here. We can see how that worked out.
You don’t need to say anything Stacey, I know what you’re thinking. You hate everything about me. You probably think I’m “privileged”, and I suppose I am if you judge by my good health and ability to work hard and not stab innocent kids at track meets.
I know you hate me. Hate this: there are millions, tens of millions of Whites like me. The era of standing by and letting people like you Karmelo our children, friends, parents, is over. We tried that in 2016 and 2020, and your kinfolk shrieked to “take that shit to the suburbs” anyway. And then CNN lied about it to protect you. We’re done with meekly standing by and saluting while the Karmelos prowls around our communities, seeking who they might liberate of their wallet and wedding ring.
So if you’re going to hate me, a foundational American whose surname is ancient (yours likely comes from the “Patton” family that purchased your ancestors) and whose family has been here for centuries, you should hate the rest of us too. And do so openly, so everyone can see that you’re a spiteful witch that deserves to be fired (yes, even from Howard) for this extremist rhetoric you feel comfortable enough to share with the class.
It sucked, and you would fail Creative Writing 101 at any community college pre-2000.
Oh, and by the way:
