I did it, its the end of the month and I feel like Tiger’s baseball pitcher Skubal clapping for himself after his Maddux (open and closed his own game in under 100 pitches).
An asterisk equals “Yay me,” through out this letter.
There are a lot of wonderful reasons to celebrate, but the top ones are going to be my headers for this newsletter.
This was a big milestone I wanted* after watching Ryan Cahill, Michael R. Miller, etc be on there. There are only 100 signed available, so grab a copy right away and pre-order it now.
Every chapter has different art for Vakandi in it, it has the bonus short story, and the mountains now have our loveable dragon flying across it.
It’s gorgeous and I will be sharing a video of it later on Instagram.
Next week, the last chapter of my web series will be posted, a total of 203k words or 71 chapters, or ~740 pages. Thanks to all the incredible feedback on Royal Road, I will be going back and dev editing the first 10 chapters. Then it will be down to line edits before publishing it. Want to read it while it’s still free? Check it out on Royal Road. With that big book done, I am going to be taking a little break (been pushing hard since September) before diving into my next projects.
This past weekend I was selling at The Big Ohio Book con and had a blast selling there. Thanks to the Black Cat Books & Oddities and the Book Dragon book club for hosting such a fun filled weekend. I talked to over hundreds of readers, bought a few books, and met other incredible authors. For the first time ever, in a weekend I sold 64 books. There were so many fun vendors, panels, and a photo shoot set up that I can’t wait to go back and do it again next year of they decide to run it. There were probably close to 3k people there based on my estimation? It made my day to see The Thedre books, ‘The Unchosen’ and ‘The Astray Chosen,’ getting picked up.
The moment I got home, I ordered more books, because in 2 weeks, I will be selling at the Columbus Book Fest in Indie Author Alley. Come on by if you are in the area, it’s a free event, very kid friendly and a lot of panels going on. I’m hoping to get a book signed by Rebecca Thorne and Matt Dinniman.
If you like paranormal romance, this debut book just dropped on Kindle Unlimited.
She is the moon, and he is the darkness that makes her shine.
Their souls are fated to be bound.
She has the choice to deny.
Kyran, a somber alpha haunted by his past, has never believed in fate- until he meets Selene. She lives as a human, unaware that she holds the key to the survival of the entire werewolf race. Her memories and powers have been magically locked away, shielding her from those who seek her demise.
For decades, the vampire king has wreaked havoc against Kyran's pack, creating monstrous wolves and abducting women in a desperate hunt for the lost werewolf queen. Now, Selene's awakening threatens to tip the balance of power- but unlocking her true self could cost her everything.
As passion ignites between them, Kyran and Selene must confront their deepest scars and survive the forces determined to tear them apart, or darkness will claim them forever.
Will their love find light within the shadows? Lunar Shadows: Awaken
There is a twist on mythology throughout the story, with inspiration pulled from Greek and Norse stories, depicting the creation of the werewolf and vampire races. Expect raw emotions, unfolding drama, angsty tension, and dark themes addressing real aspects of life.
Contains explicit content intended for mature readers.
She's a bunny. She's a girl. And she's going to evolve.
Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit.
Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous [Mark of Fate] skill. She has no idea what it does, but things keep happening to her, most of them unpleasant. From little slimes to giant wolves, everything seems to want her dead, and in her efforts to escape them, she winds up in a complicated situation that she is in no way qualified to resolve.
Can she navigate this new world that seems to have it out for her specifically?
Have a great one readers and I hope you find some incredible books this summer.
