Make lets AI build without hiding the workflow

For anyone unfamiliar with Make, it is a visual automation platform. You connect apps and assemble workflows from individual modules:

Get this data, transform it, send it somewhere else.

In my experience, it has always been more powerful, more flexible and much cheaper than Zapier.

But the learning curve is a pain.

Even as a seasoned user, some data transformations can be done in several different ways, or require techniques you would never think of. That means lots of research and trial and error before a complex setup works.

AI builders promise the opposite experience: describe the end result, let AI build it for you and focus on the outcome. But what you get can be a black box that is difficult to understand, let alone change yourself.
