Welcome to our August bookclub discussion of Love by Toni Morrison. This is one of her shorter books at 202 pages so I’m excited for something a little lighter than the last three books we have read.
So lets get started!
One of the first things that I wrote down on a sticky note was the question : why does everyone seem to have a different version of Bill Cosey?
To Vida, Cosey is charming, generous, and almost larger than life. Sandler has a different view of him and sees some of the ways Cosey could be self-serving and complicated. And then there’s L.whose whole narrative is chaotic…
