We just completed our very first expedition in Africa!
Of course, this journey is not merely about scoring as many ‘wildlife sightings’ as humanly possible while losing sight of everything else. This is, as with all our other journeys, an effort to work closely with the local community (especially the Maasai pastoralists), an effort to craft out experiences that deeply respect the ecosystem and the culture, and an effort to help people travel meaningfully in a way that is beneficial to all involved.

We are working to bring to you our very first walking holiday in Arunachal Pradesh! Set in Siang in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh, this journey is crafted as a community-owned and operated model with the meimeis (sisters) of two villages!
We run our pilot in October 2026.
And we’re working very closely with the Changpa community on a trek in very remote valleys of Ladakh… It will be live sometime next year!

We’re gearing up for an all-new season of packrafting around Majuli, the well-known river island in Northeast India. We drift past feeding flocks, watch them soar overhead, and spend our days accompanied by a constant soundtrack of birdsong. Whether you’re an experienced birder or keen to learn, this guide introduces you to some of the species we commonly encounter on this magical exploration.
When we say we try to be sustainable and restrained in our approach, we mean it— we run just two departures each year, with only eight guests per journey. The impact on the local ecosystem and the local community is gentle, and hopefully a net positive. And it makes for an intimate and immersive experience on the water, too!

The Trans-Himalayan Drift is a series of packrafting river expeditions through ancient waterways that were once revered as deities and are woven into the oldest myths of these stark, high-altitude, cold desert landscapes.
This first edition of the Trans-Himalayan Drift follows a keystone glacial river, L’dumra (which translates to Valley of Flowers), as it winds between the towering Saltoro (7,200 m) and Saser (7,672 m) ranges, carrying us over 90 km, from the shadow of its glacial source to its confluence with the mighty Shyok.
This journey offers a water-level view of that vastness: one where the landscape shifts gradually and perspective deepens over the course of the expedition.
The Trans-Himalayan Drift: Ldumra
We are developing a new packrafting expedition in the Trans-Himalaya!
This will be this will be a level up in terms of grade of water, with lots of fun and runable class 2 and class 3 rapids!
