Sock yarn survey, snail mail swap

My sock mojo is so back, friends! And I’m planning for our return to dyeing in just a few weeks. Even though we’ve only been on a short hiatus, the availability of yarn has changed quite a bit in the last few months. It is very important to me to provide you with interesting and versatile yarn bases, and I would be so grateful for your thoughts on what makes a good sock yarn.

My thoughts on this subject are pretty strong - but I am not knitting, or wearing, your socks! I have created a survey on sock yarn preferences. Would you be willing to share your opinion? It’s not a super long survey (maybe allow 5 to 7 minutes to complete it?), but it is very geeky. Here it is:

To thank you for your time and brain power, I will do a random drawing (or two) from all respondents for a project bag. As shipping costs and international regulations are a mess, this is limited to knitters in the US (but also Canadian knitters who have been in the Knit Spin Farm yarn club). If you have purchased yarn from me in the past, or think you will purchase in the future, I would be so grateful for your thoughts on wool type, ply structure, nylon content… There are also a few questions about how you use your socks. We ate our first cherry tomatoes while picking green beans last night. Joyous. We also have 2026 potatoes!! That’s all, friends! Here is the sock yarn survey link again. Thank you so much for helping me choose the yarns we use going forward. (Oh! Yarny McYarnface and BFL/Nylon will stay in the offerings. We’ll also retain a sport weight and DK weight moving forward. Sock-suitable yarns in those weights are limited, though, so fewer decisions have to be made with them. Thus, the survey focuses specifically on fingering weight yarns.)
