Kevin Szabo · The Writing Chronicles

I was having a conversation with a prospect earlier.

“I don’t know what to offer”

when it started I was the exact same way.

Now if I wanted to I can create 20 offers on the spot

I don’t need to, but I could.

People get way stuck on this step.

The point of this article is to bring some relief to those who may feel stuck.

First, what are you good at? Second, what do you enjoy?

Let’s use writing for the sake of argument.

What can you offer as a writer?

A services?

  • Ghostwriting

  • Copywriting

  • Mentorship

  • Coaching

What do all of these have in common?

Access to YOU!

Your time is in value.

Products:

  • An Ebook

  • Templates

  • Guides

  • Notion templates

And so much more on both sides.

Focus on one thing and stick to it for years.

Sell the crap out of it until your arms feel dead.

Here’s what important through, it’s your mindset that holds you back, often fear.

Another thing.

What seems obvious to you, doesn’t feel obvious to somebody else.

Just because you know something, doesn’t mean they have any idea clue how to do it.

You have to position yourself as someone who knows what the solution is.

You don’t have to be famous, you have to be found.

Think like a business owner, not a content creator.

Theres a difference in that way of thinking.

Most importantly, build a brand.

Build a decent enough following that people know you’re a real human being.

300 is usually the magic number.

You don’t need millions.. not even a thousand.

Just enough numbers and value that people see you and think… okay yeah, they’re legit.

Stop lying to yourself, keep your offer simple.

The thought of saturation kills people faster than anything in my experience.!
