The Gwinnett County Democratic Party will feature antizionist conspiracy-promoter David Hogg as the marquee speaker at its annual Bluetopia fundraiser next month, platforming the gun control advocate turned anti-Israel ideologue at one of the state’s most prominent Democratic events.
Hogg, a 26-year-old who rose to fame after being present during the Parkland school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, parlayed his notoriety into a brief stint as Democratic National Committee vice chair, and is scheduled to speak at the Sept. 12 fundraiser at Premier Event Hall in Duluth, Georgia, according to the county party.
The event falls during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year observance, when many Jews will be in synagogue.
