Welcome to the second ever Aligned & Abundant Monthly Edit: your curated list of what’s helping us get aligned and manifest more abundance this month. (Subscribers get these once a month so make sure to join the club if you haven’t already!)

I don’t know if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed too, but… when you’re a multi-passionate, hyper-ambitious person, it’s easy to say yes to too much. So in the spirit of avoid clinical burnout, this months theme/challenge for you is: Where can you simplify?

Where can you edit down, consolidate, say no (for now), or ask for help, so you can free up some energy to either rest or double down on something else? What would happen if you conserved more of your resources for the things that really matter to you right now?

Let’s find out this month!

This month the abundant girlies are calling in

  • support, delegation, outsourcing

  • less business/clearing some space in your calendar

  • more intentionality

And we’re leaving behind

  • saying yes to every single thing (out of fear of missing out)

  • feeling the pressure to do everything we want to experience in life all at once

  • burnout, exhaustion and overexertion

AFFIRMATION: It is safe to cancel some plans, simplify my life, and have space in my days. I don’t have to force it all to happen all at the same time. It’s ok to take back some of my energy. It’s ok to have more energy for me.

SAVORING: Parmesan Crusted Sheet Pan Chicken Dinner

One pan, one dish. We are not overcomplicating dinner tonight, baby!

For the chicken:

  • 1½ lb chicken breast (3-4 pieces, about 1 inch thick)

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan

  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)

  • ½ tsp cracked pepper

  • ½–¾ tsp sea salt

For the potatoes:

  • 2 lb red potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the green beans:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 Tbsp parmesan (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat to 425°F. Toss the potatoes together and give them a 10-15 minute head start on the pan since they take the longest. While those cook, toss the chicken in the same bowl, then add it to the pan alongside the potatoes. Toss the green beans and tuck them onto the last section of the pan. Bake everything together for about 25 minutes, until the chicken hits 165°F internally. Broil the last few minutes if you want the potatoes extra crispy.

Thank you Lorie Yarro at Lemons & Zest for this simple and delicious recipe.

ASK YOURSELF: Where can I cut back, simplify, take on less in the name of preserving my sanity and doing more with less?
