Before our first $49,000 month, this had to happen

We’ve officially entered the make-an-entire-years-salary-in-one-month era and I’m gonna let you in on exactly how we did it. 🎉🙌🏼

For context, my husband and I have been on a major money manifesting journey for the last few years. According to the youtube astrologers, Saturn has been paying us a little visit in some money house. Teaching us discipline, hard work and restructuring of our finances. And it seems to be doing something because we just hit our first collective nearly $50K USD month.

Which feels weird to write about because I don’t want to put our personal life on blast and I definitely don’t want to be one of those influencers that’s like “look at how much I make, you can make this too if you join my $10,000 mastermind about selling people $10,000 masterminds.”

It’s like “Ok, Jake, we get it. You run a ponzi. Leave us alone.”

But I do want to share our story just to show you what’s possible when you align yourself with more money and stay dedicated to the process.

So here are a few of the practical and energetic things we’ve done that have led to the most amount of opportunities and success.

Look, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your dreams is the audacity.

When my husband got the opportunity to pursue a career in commercial real estate, we jumped at the rare opportunity, even though it was 100% commission, which meant zero salary, just lots of cold-calling, hard work, and inconsistent paydays.

For his entire first year in real estate he didn’t make any money.

Not one dollar.

In fact, he had to spend a bunch of money on his training, software, supplies, etc.

I happily supported us because we were playing the long-term game. We both swallowed our gender role pride for the greater good and took the leap with no clue if it would actually pay off or not. Three years later, it’s paying off big time.

When the salon I work at (extremely part time) told me that I had to rent my chair a minimum of 3 days a week (up from 1). I said ok, took on more clients and raised my prices, which brought in more cash.

When my husband got offered equity in a real estate deal for being a property manager (something he had never done before) he said yes without blinking so we could secure the bag.

When that same deal needed staging, my husband asked me to do it (because I am the feng shui queen and daughter of an interior designer after all), so I said sure! I’d never professionally designed a space before, and that’s the whole point.

In order to get different results, you need to try a new stuff. When aligned opportunities find you, say yes and just see what can happen!

This is probably one of the most underrated money-managing hacks, and that’s to make big numbers, not that big a deal.

What difference does it make if a number is 3 digits or 6 digits long? A number is just a number. And money (since it’s not backed by anything anymore) is just digits on a screen, my friends.

So instead of looking at $3,000,000 as “oh my gosh that’s a lot of money” just look it like a dollar sign with a 3 and six zeroes, plus a couple of commas thrown in there.

Some people spend that on a weeks long vacation in the Maldives. It’s all perspective.

I’ll never forget when my husband was on the phone with one of his clients and I overheard the client say (in a thick NY Italian Mobster voice) “Jeff, how am I supposed to live off $8,000,000 dollars?! Get outta here!".

The less charged certain numbers are to you, the less resistance you’ll have to them and the easier they will be to make a part of your reality.

And perhaps the most transformative shift we absolutely had to make, the way we think about money.

No more hating the rich, thinking there’s not enough money to go around, insisting that debt is evil, believing we are limited to our current circumstances... Oh, no.

We gutted our subconscious money blocks and replaced them with the most expanded, optimistic money perspectives we could find.

If they keep printing money, isn’t money everywhere and never-ending? YES.

Just because I’ve only made X amount in the past, does that mean that’s all I’ll ever make? Hell no!

If other people have done it, why not us?

The bottom line is, money manifestation is an inside job first, seize real life opportunities second kind of game. Once you start improving your relationship to the natural flow of abundance, that’s when things start to get real interesting! 💸💸💸
