Good afternoon!

Happy Thursday, it’s almost the weekend. I am at the point in the summer that each passing day gives me anxiety that summer is coming to a close all too soon. I know many of you are already in the back to school phase, so I feel super grateful that our first day isn’t until after Labor Day.

Last week, I had the opportunity to interview my good friend and Hamptons fixture, Joey Wölffer, for a new episode of All on the Table, recorded at the Dear Media pop-up studio at The Maidstone in East Hampton. Joey’s late father founded Wölffer Estate Vineyards, here in Sagaponack, which she now operates with her family. They are largely responsible for making Long Island a wine destination and for increasing the overall popularity of rosé. I have been friends with Joey for a long time, but I realized there was so much that I didn’t know about her story. Our conversation was very personal and she shared what it is like to run a family business, her Hamptons favorites, what it is like to live here year round, and the secret to her spaghetti with clams (I can attest, I’ve had it, it’s fabulous, and I’m stealing her trick).

On another note, if you haven’t had a chance to watch the latest episode of It’s Not Complicated on YouTube, be sure to check it out. I made Slow Cooker BBQ Party Ribs and they are to die for. They’re perfect for summer and also great for busy back to school evenings because they are a set it and forget it recipe.

Head over to my YouTube channel to watch, and tune in to All on the Table for my full conversation with Joey. Let me know what you think in the comments.

xx, Katie

This week, I’m catching up with my friend and celebrity makeup artist Quinn Murphy, the genius behind the glam of stars like Kate Hudson, Sofía Vergara, and Kristen Bell. We’re talking all things beauty, and Quinn is sharing some of his best insider tips—from the moisturizer he swears by and the truth about drugstore makeup to how to get that glowy, natural look without a 12-step routine.
