Kathryn Ann Waller · The Shot List by Kathryn Ann Waller

Last year, I put together a little “city guide” on Instagram with my favorite Savannah spots - where to shop, eat, wander, and stay. Honestly, I thought it would just be a fun one-off post, but it ended up living a whole second life. Friends (and plenty of strangers) saved it, bookmarked it, and actually used it as their go-to when they needed a new dinner spot or a hotel rec.

As someone who grew up here, I’ve seen Savannah shift and stretch in ways I never could’ve imagined. There are corners I wish could stay untouched forever, but for the most part I’ve learned to lean into the change and find joy in what’s evolving instead of fighting it.

So when the anniversary of that guide came back around this year, it felt like the right time for a refresh. The only problem is Savannah’s food and hotel scene doesn’t exactly sit still. It felt almost impossible to keep up! That’s when I roped in my dear friend and fellow creative (and luxury travel advisor), Caroline Edwards. Together, we pulled our favorites into one all-inclusive, visually beautiful guide that feels even more special to share this time around.

And while Instagram had its moment with the original guide, I didn’t want this Substack corner to miss out. This community feels intentional and connected, so here’s the list again (this time just in words) for you.
