I love to sew, I love to thrift shop and I love clothes. What a perfect combination of passions! If you are eager to turn your thrifted fabric into unique, one-of-a-kind whimsical pieces for your wardrobe, I’ve got your back.

Of course, basically any sewing pattern can be used with thrifted fabric because it’s just fabric after all. But I do get asked all the time which patterns I’ve used for my thrift flips, so I think people would like some inspiration and pointers! Some of these patterns (like the ones by Spilt Milk & Softpaw Vintage) have actually been designed with vintage fabrics in mind - such as embroidered tablecloths, quilts and blankets. Others are just great simple patterns which I think lend themselves well to using these fabrics, or that I’ve used before to great success (IMO).
