We’re just past the middle of Pride month, and I’m so moved by how many of you have purchased Book of Grace this month. Really, y’all. You’re making my Pride swole. 🏳️🌈
As you might’ve heard, $5 of each copy sold is going to GLISTEN, (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network—formerly GLSEN.) For over 30 years, GLISTEN has been dedicated to creating safe and respectful learning environments for youth of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, race, and abilities. These days, this kind of support is legit saving lives.
We still have more days of June ahead, more time to order Book of Grace— and to sweeten the queer pot, I’ll match whatever total we come up with at the end of the month. That’s how gay I am.
Of course I’d love for you to read my book, but I’d also love a future for kids that holds hope and safe spaces and the freedom to be their beautiful selves.
